see now what if it michael was struggling to stay awake in calum's arms and his eyes kept drooping but he kept blinking and calum coos and pulls him closer to his chest because his baby just looks so soft and now michael's head is tucked underneath his chin and buried in his t shirt, his legs around his waist and his arms tucked into himself and calum watches him, how he softens and hums and shifts before drifting off and calum kisses the cheek that isn't buried, but then takes one of his arms and strokes the cheek with his thumb, and calum just can't believe that this little cutie is his 'alright kitten let's get you to bed' and he is careful to pick him up, calum shushing him quietly when he mewed and he carries him up the stairs and karen and daryl watch from another room but could still see everything that was happening and they change their mind completely about the tattooed boy.
