CHAPTER ONE - LILLY'S P.O.V

"But I want to spend an eternity with you." She whispered to Daniel as he was walking away. In an instant, he turned around and stared at her with his sparkly eyes. She was getting mesmerized by the swirls of grey until he spoke.

"You want to spend... an eternity with... me?" He asked with skepticism. She nodded her head and watched as a sweet smile spread across his beautifully chiseled face. In the blink of her blue eyes he was standing in front of her. "Your wish is my command, Lilly." He looked down at her with absolute love and affection.

"This will be agonizing my darling, but this is the last time I shall ever cause you pain." Her heart was palpitating uncontrollably. She only nodded her head, scared that fear would be evident in her voice. His fangs became visible and his eyes turned an intense shade of red.

"For us, for love, for eternity." She whispered and tilted her head to the side, exposing the creamy porcelain skin of her neck.

"For us, for love, for eternity." He repeated her words softly, leaning closer with every word. His teeth were mere centimeters away from her neck. She was ready; ready to become a vampire, ready to spend an eternity with Daniel.

"I'm ready." She whispered softly. His jaw expanded and he-

My eyes flutter open as a vociferous ringing makes its way to my ears. I grab the iPhone from my nightstand and disable the dream disrupting alarm. I glance at the time and groan when I see it is six o' clock.

When my feet touch the cold hardwood floor I welcome the chills that are sent through my warm body. My feet carry me to the bathroom, and as I turn on the shower I hear a soft knock on my door.

"We're leaving in an hour so make sure you're ready by then!" I can barely hear my mother's voice over the droplets of water hitting the hard floor of the tub.

"Yes mother!" I yell, rolling my eyes as I picture her standing in the hallway looking pristine and immaculate.

I rinse the shampoo out of my hair and watch as the suds flow into the drain. The steam that surrounds me clouds my vision and I have to swat the vapor away as I climb out of the shower.

I reluctantly put on my school uniform with a scowl on my face as I tuck the blue polo shirt under my abominable navy blue skirt. I wish I could have the freedom to wear what I want at school instead of being limited to an atrocious uniform and a strict dress code.

The mascara and eyeliner I apply to my face is enough for me. I'm just not one of those girls who can deal with the complexity of make up. After looking at my clock and seeing that it's five minutes until seven, I grab my canvas back pack and make my way down stairs.

"I'm surprised you're not late." My mother says as I enter the kitchen.

"Good morning Lillian." My father courteously greets me, like I'm some business associate.

"Good morning father." I return his courteous greeting and walk towards the cabinet, pulling out a box of Honey Nut Cheerios.

"No time for breakfast Lillian. Go to the car because we are leaving in two minutes." My mother's commandingness always seems to hit a nerve.

"Did you know that there's this polite word called please?" The sarcasm in my tone causes her to narrow her green eyes at me.

"I do not have time for your sarcasm now carry your butt to the car. And you should really dry your hair next time, you don't want to look like a wet dog now do you?" She turns around and takes a sip of her coffee like she didn't just insult me.
