Every day I watched him get pushed around and eat his lunch at the end of the table by himself. He came to every after school event from football and basketball to choir and band concerts. The one thing I noticed was he was always carrying his notebook. He literally took it everywhere. I always wondered what he kept in that book. But most of all I wondered what that boy was really like. It couldn't be what my brother and my friends all think he is. I could tell their was something special about him. Something no one knew. I want to find out more about the kid under his hoody, Hayes Grier.
