Every night I sit up wondering what I'm doing wrong, if anything. I sit up and wonder what happened to us. We used to be so good, I don't know what this is anymore, what we are anymore. He used to be there for me whenever. I've always been there for him, but now he's nowhere to be seen. But when he is around, it's like he's here, but he's not. After our first year of college we moved in together and still attend classes while working. Our busy schedules cause us not to see a lot of each other throughout the day, but we still have time together at night. Even then he never pays attention to me anymore. I try to say something to him, but it goes in one ear and out the other. I'm getting really tired. I've tried to be patient. Maybe he's just having a tough time, maybe he needs space. But I'm tired of being patient. "(Y/n), I'm home!" I had my earbuds in, but I could hear him call out from the front door. I was in our room on my laptop, but I didn't respond. "(Y/n)?" He came into the room and smiled at me. "There you are. Did you hear me? I called you." I continued typing away, keeping my eyes on the screen. "I heard you." I mumbled. "Were you ignoring me then?" He teased. "I'm just surprised you were talking to me." His smile fell a little. "What's that supposed to mean?" I rolled my eyes. "Nothing." He sighed and set his bag down. "Are you okay?" He asked. For some reason, that made me really irritated. "I'm fine." He sat down next to me. "You know you can talk to me." He said. I scoffed and looked at him. "You're seriously saying that? Wow, coming from someone who has the attention span of a peanut." I said. "Okay, what's your problem?" "Oh trust me, I'm not the one with the problem." I said. "So it's me then, is that it?" "Took you long enough to realize it." I mumbled and went back to my laptop. "What the hell (y/n)? Why are you acting like this?" I didn't want to start an argument so I held back. "Just forget it. I have to finish this paper." "Whatever." He shook his head and walked out of the room. I watched him with hooded eyes and yanked my earbuds out. Midway through my paper, I got up to get a drink. I slowly walked out of the room and saw Hansol standing by the balcony door on the phone. "Yeah. I tried to come home and have a conversation with her, but she started acting like a bitch. I don't know what her deal is. Maybe I should take that Talia chick up on her offer after all." He chuckled and my heart stung. I backed away and went back to our room and closed the door. I started sobbing and sat against the wall, holding my knees to my chest. I heard footsteps coming so I quickly wiped my eyes and walked over to dresser and pretended I was putting lotion on my hands. Hansol came in and walked into the closet and changed his shirt. "I'm going out." He said. He was about to walk back out the door when he saw my face. "Do you really have to?" I asked. "Oh so now you want me around." I turned around and looked at him. "What do you mean? I always want you around." I mumbled. "It sure seemed like it when you just attacked me earlier." "What do you mean I attacked you? I was just irritated because all of a sudden you want to pretend that you care." "Pretend? (Y/n)-" "Don't act like you don't know. You do know. You don't care about me anymore. You're never around, you never listen to me!" He smirked. "So that's what this is. You just want me to spend more time with you. Typical woman." I scoffed. "You wanna be sexist now?" "I was just playing-" "Well I'm not! I don't know what happened but there's something wrong with us. Do you even love me anymore?" "No." I froze. "W-What?" "If you're gonna ask stupid questions I'm gonna give you stupid answers." "It's not a stupid question, I'm really asking that because I'm so sure anymore." "Well if you're not, I'm not either." He grabbed his jacket and put it on. "Don't wait up for me." Then, he walked out the door, leaving me there, alone, like always.
