Chapter Twenty

(Author's Note) Hey, just wanted to let you know that I'm doing a cast. I'll begin posting pics of the girl characters on this chapter, then when I'm done with them I'll do the boys. :)

Chapter Twenty

Month: Three

"Anna!" Julia said to me as she walked into my room. "Guess what! Guess what!" She was practically jumping.

"What?" I asked watching her, she was walking around my room, not able to stay still.

"Brett asked me out!" She bounced as she said it.

"Eric's brother?" I asked, still not so good with his name.

"Yeah!"

I smiled. "That's so cute! You two will make the prefect couple!"

She giggled. "I know!"

I checked the time. "We better go, or else we're gonna be late for school."

She nodded, but was still bouncing around. I'd never seen Julia this happy about a boy before.

My mom drove us to school, and when we got there we both jumped out.

"Bye mom." I called to her shutting the door. 

I turned around, and Julia was gone. I looked around and spotted her with Brett. Nice to ditch me. I thought as I went over and sat down at a bench. I spotted Zach, but he was with Ashley. Ashley saw me, and began to cuddle and kiss with him. I quickly turned away and pulled out a book.

As I began to read, two hands covered my eyes. I moved them away and saw Eric.

I stared at him. "You liar." 

"What?" He said laughing.

"You said you were home schooled."

"Well, I was but my brother was going here and saw you so I decided to go to public school." 

"I still think your a liar." I told him. But I was happy he was here, now I wouldn't be so alone, since Julia has Brett, and Zach has Ashley. 

 "So..." He said, sitting down next to me. "How is your day so far?" 

"Crappy." I laughed. "Julia ditched me for your brother."

He laughed with me. "That's all he has been talking about." 

I smiled, not knowing what to say next.

"So, when can I come to your house?" He asked me.

"Uhh, how about today? We can walk to my house together."

He smiled. "Sounds perfect."

Just then the bell rang for first hour, so I said good-bye to Eric and looked around for Zach. We always walked together to our classes. 

I found him still with Ashley, she was making out with him. I turned away and waited. After a couple minutes passed and they still hadn't broken apart, I decided to start heading to class so I wouldn't be late. 

I started to walk when Zach finally caught up with me.

"Finally done making out with Ashley?" I asked him, not really looking his way.

"Uh, yeah.." He replied stiffly.

"What do you want to say?" I asked him.

"I don't want to say anything." He stared at me, I knew I had caught him.

"Your wanting to tell me something, but your holding it back. Tell me." 

He was about to protest when he stopped himself, he knew I was right. "Well, I like Ashley, I really do, but not as much as she likes me." 

We stopped outside of our first hour's classroom. She pretending to like you, to make me jealous. I wanted to say, but decided against it. "So, what your saying is you don't want to go out with her?" I asked calmly. Inside I was doing a happy dance.

"No, I want to go out with her, I'm just wondering if you know any ways to get her to slow down in ourrelationship." All the happiness inside me faded away as fast as it had came. 

 Yeah, as long as I'm not around she won't take it fast. I thought. "Uh, I guess just talk to her about it." I told him as the warning bell rang. "We better get inside before we get counted absent." 

He nodded as we headed inside. Did this prove he has no feelings for me?
