"Please be so careful," my mother said to me kissing my forehead.
I let out a small chuckle. "I'll try."
I walked over to Luke who had a frown planted on his face.
"I'll miss you a lot." He whispered to me as he pulled me into a hug.
"I'll miss you too." I replied pulling out of the hug.
I looked over to my mom and realized she'd be alone with just Luke while I'm away. "Take care of her, okay?" He nodded and I stepped away from them and looked at them both.
My family. My supporting mother and my loving brother. My father who might no longer be here but always had a special place in my heart.
At that moment my phone vibrated in my pocket.
Hayes: I'll be at the airport waiting you. I can't wait to see you again.
I smiled and slid my phone back into my pocket.
Flight 292 to California is now boarding flight 292 is now boarding.
"That's me." I said taking a deep breath.
I gave them each one more hug before walking off to my gate.
Tonight I'll be up in the clouds with my dad.
Tomorrow I'll be in paradise with my boyfriend.
I put on my earbuds in and put my music on shuffle before falling asleep.
