Chapter Eight: Making it Real

"Uh, Zane," Aira asked knocking at his bedroom door.

"Ah! Don't come in!" She heard him yell.

She heard a bunch of crashing around. She opened the door anyway. She gasped. On a the table in his room as a woman. A robotic woman.

"Zane, who is that," she asked.

"It was my project," Zane said. "I'm trying to rebuild Pixal. I want Kyle to have a mom and a dad."

"Zane, that is so sweet! Have you been able to do it?"

"She is all built I just have to move Pixal's processor from my head to hers," he said.

"Then what are you waiting for!?" Aira squealed excitedly.

"Here we go," Zane said removing something from the back of his head. He placed it in the female form and took a step back. The woman opened her eyes. "Pixal?"

"Lloyd, look out!" Kai yelled.

"Huh?" To late. Cole's scythe came underneath his feet and knocked him down.

"Pay attention," Cole yelled.

"I'm sorry, guys," Lloyd said sitting up.

"What's bugging you, kiddo?" Cole asked.

"That! That right there," Lloyd groaned.

"What are you talking about?" Jay asked.

"Kiddo," he said. "I'm definitely not a kiddo."

"Okay? And?" Kai asked.

"Where is Zane? Oh wait never mind he already knows," Lloyd said.

"What are you rambling about?" Jay asked.

"I beat you all to it," Lloyd said lying on the floor. "And I'm supposed to be fourteen."

"Is he malfunctioning?" Jay joked.

"What are you talking about?" Cole asked loudly.

"I'm going to be a father," Lloyd said.

"Haha no seriously," Cole deadpanned, "what are you rambling about."

"I'm serious," Lloyd said standing up.

"What?!" Jay yelled.

"You mean you guys-" Kai started and Lloyd nodded.

"How?!" Kai asked.

"Well, you see Kai," Jay said. "When a mommy and a daddy love each other-"

"That's not what I meant, dumbbell," Kai said smacking Jay on the back if the head.

"You!? A dad?!" Cole shouted. "Is this for real?!"

"Yes," Lloyd said nodding.

"Man, gets a girl first and a kid?!" Jay shouted. "This is so weird."

"But you aren't mad?" Lloyd asked.

"Why would we be mad?" Jay asked. "It's your problem not ours."

"It's not a problem, Jay," Cole said. "It's just a surprise."

"Ya, we definitely weren't expecting this," Lloyd said.

"Well, you at the ones that-" Jay started.

"Didn't you use protection?!" Kai asked incredulously.

"Ah! I don't need to know!" Cole said. "Bad images!"
