The next morning Annabelle got up, ate, put her uniform on and left for school without saying a word to Dan or Phil.
"Is she ok?" Phil asked
"I'm sure she is fine. Louise is coming over later."
"Oh yeah maybe she can help."
"Yeah"
Hannah was on the train again but Annabelle sat somewhere else. Even when they got to school and met with the others Annabelle did not say a word.
"Annabelle are you ok?" Riley asked
Annabelle only nodded. They got to school and went to classes. At break and lunch she sat at the back of the library where no one could find her. At the end of the day she went to the train station and got on the train without saying goodbye to her friends. As the train was pulling into the station she got a text from Megan,
Hey Annabelle. Me and Charlie are missing you loads. in two weeks I am coming to London with my family and Charlie is coming too, I was wondering if you would like to meet me so we can catch up.
to Megan- that would be great let me know when and I will meet you.
Annabelle wanted to see her sister and Megan again as she had not seen them in a long time. Thinking of this made her think of Sam. Annabelle missed Sam more then anyone. Annabelle got home and knocked on the door. Phil answered with a hello how was your day but Annabelle just went to her room and closed her door and went onto her laptop and did some maths and music homework.
"She has been quiet all day by the looks of it." Phil said re entering the living room.
"Shes a teen aged girl this is what happens sometimes." Louise said
"Girls are so hard." Dan said
"Have you spoke to her??"
"no"
"That might help her a lot."
"Really?"
"Yeah. well I have to get going Zoe is going out so I need to get Darcy. I hoped I helped you out."
"Yeah thanks. Maybe you should bring Darcy here so Annabelle can meet her." Phil said showing Louise to the door.
"Yeah I will do."
At six Dan made dinner and when it was ready they called Annabelle and she sat and ate it with out saying anything.
"Annabelle how was school?" Dan asked
She shrugged
"Are you ok?"
She nodded
"Anything bad happen at school?"
she shock her head. Dan looked at Phil and he looked back.
"Annabelle can we have words please." Phil asked
"good, yes, no." She stood took out her plate and went back to her room.
"That went well." Phil said
