The Beginning

Ema's POV (6 years old)
It was about time for Kaname to come home and I couldn't wait to see him. Oh Kaname is my big brother and he is 12 years old! Anyways, I couldn't wait any longer so I asked "When is big brother coming home? I can't wait any longer!"
"Oh Ema, you sure love Kaname very much, don't you?" Replied/asked mum.
"Yup! I love big brother!" I cheerfully replied with my eyes closed smile.

Few minutes after the sound of the door opening was heard so I looked to where the door is and found my big brother there. I happily jumped on him and hugged him, he hugged me back. "Welcome back Kaname!" I said giggling. He giggled back. Kaname carried me to the couch and sat down. I was sitting in between mum and Kaname. He talked to me about his trip and how he wanted to show me the rose that blooms only once in ten year.

"It's ok Kaname, you don't have to worry about me I'm perfectly fine!" I said happily to enlighten the mood or at least to not make Kaname worry. The truth is I always wanted to go outside and see the outside world, but for some reasons my parents doesn't want me to go out side because they say it is dangerous outside for me to go and play. Kaname and I played and talked more, but eventually I fell asleep.

I don't know how long I was sleeping but I heard Kaname and my parents talking.
"How long are you going to lie and keep Ema in this basement room with out an window!" Kaname said quietly with a hint of anger in his voice. "Kaname please understand that the outside world is dangerous for Ema. What would you do if Rido suddenly shows up and tries to drink her blood or what if she accidentally used her power without knowing. Kaname you do know very well that she is the princess of the pure bloods and she is the most powerful, strongest vampire in the history." Replied mum hoping he would understand her. I had no idea what was going on so I pretended to sleep and listen to their conversation.

"Yes, but she needs to learn to control her powers or else when she grows up and when she uses her power she can't control them, then she might end up dying or gets hurt really badly!" Kaname raised his voice a little higher but not that high to wake me up, even though I am awake. "Very well then Kaname, we can at least make a room to teach her how to control and use her powers, but! She can't still go outside! Is that clear?!" Dad said kind of annoyed by Kaname's action.

"But dear..." Mum started to speak but was cut of by Kaname. "*sigh* very well then" I was quite confused so I pretended to wake up. "Mm mm" I made a sound. Than slowly I opened my eyes to be met by my mum, dad and Kaname. Suddenly Kaname stood up "Let's go to bed" than he carried me to my room. He put me down and kissed me on the forehead than said goodnight to me. Before he could leave I grabbed his shirt and stopped him. He turned back to look at me. "Can you sleep with me Kaname?" I asked. Than he slightly nodded. "Ok" he sighed than cam into my bed. I slowly drifted of to sleep.
Kaname's POV:
As I lay down, Ema was already fast asleep. It was cute seeing her sleeping face.

I know you were listening to our conversation. But please don't get mad at me. I thought in my head. I lay back down and looked up. Then I also slowly drifted off to sleep.

So, what do you guys think of my first chapter? I know it's short and bad coz this is like my first/second book and it is my first time writing a fanfic or a crossover story.
