I was walking through the downtown office building holding Promise. I looked down at her smiling face and kissed her forehead. She so beautiful. I fixed her crooked pinky ring on her small and delicate finger.
She was playing with my gold chain babbling away. I walked to my office and sat down. I had a meeting at three and it was ten passed three.
These fuckers where always late. I didn't want Promise around these slime bags but Passion was at work so their was no other choice. I also didn't trust anybody with my child.
I placed Promise in my lap as I fed her some Apple sauce. I started filling out paperwork for the new shipments of coke coming in.
I read over the papers carefully then signed on the dotted line. I put them in he envelope then sealed it tight.
My assistance called me and told me my three o clock was here. The door opened and three small men with different color suits on looking like packs of skittles. They all had on make up and long weave.
"Sorry we are late Mr. Costello, our last meeting ran long" one said
"That is alright" I said flashing my fakes smile
They all took their seats then one pulled out some papers.
"My name is Crippen Logan and this is Luke Perry and George Finker. We are here to discuss some space on your shipping boat. We want to negotiate some prices to take back to our boss" the one with pink suit on said
"It depends on what your trying to ship" I said position Promise
She looked up and slapped my cheeks. I laughed then missed her forehead
"Is this your daughter" one asked
"I will only discuss business with you all now I will say this one more time, what are you trying to ship" I asked
"We need to hide some women from Japan in the crates for our human trafficking business" Luke said then flipped his long weave
'These sum ugly ass crossdressers' I thought in my head
"Hmmmm. I will charge you 6 million for a trip their and a trip back. Only 50 girls will be able to come" I said firmly
They all looked shocked and looked at each other.
"Is their anyway we can lower that price" one said giving me a lustful look
"I'm straight, I'm engaged, and my child is sitting right here. Please leave my office immediately" I said disgusted
"Bu" I cut them off
"NOW" I barked
They got up and ran out. I looked down and saw Promise looking at me like she was about to laugh. I stuck my tongue out at her and she giggled.
There was a knock at my door and Alessandro's head peaked in. He saw Promise then walked over and grabbed her.
"I have good news and bad news. Which one do you want first?" He asked sitting down putting Promise in his lap
"Bad" I said texting Passion.
"Okay, your dad killed one of our best Street Pharmacist today and sent his head to our wear house by the lakes. There was a note attached that said if we didn't hand over What he wanted he would have to come take her." He said tickling Promise
I nodded and told him to continue.
" I figured out why he wants Passion. Passion has royalty in her blood. Hers is as deep as yours. Your dad want to marry Passion so he can take over the Mianese Kingdom. They come from Japan. Passion and her sister are the only living descendants of the Mianese. In Japan if they return home they receive over 20 billion dollars in American money. But in order for her to take over she must have her first born by her husband. He wants to kill the baby and knock her up so he can take the inheritance and then kill Passion." I stared wide eyed at Alessandro
