"Scarab, wake up." A voice hummed.
I tucked myself deeper in the covers, "No, I don't wanna go to boarding school, mom. Piss off."
The voice snickered, "But you have to go."
"Damn it don't you know what 'no' means?" I groaned.
"Don't make me pull you out," And it dawned on me that this voice wasn't my moms haggy smoker rasp she called a voice. It was Scottish.
"Ugh, fuck off, Soap Im tired. Let me sleep." I told him annoyed.
"I'll give you five seconds to get out of bed before I pull you out myself," He warned. "Five. Four."
"No leave me alone."
"Three. Two."
"I'm not five. Now leave me be."
"One."
"Go away."
And next thing a know, Soap grabbed the covered and dragged me out in a cacoon of blankets. I plopped face first on the floor and glared at him. He smiled at me and said, "Morning Sleeping Beauty."
I grunted as I stood up stiffly, "Oh shut the fuck up."
"You're mean when you're tired." Soap pointed out.
"No shit Serlock," I glared.
"Come on we have breifing to attend." He reminded. "Get dressed. I have to wake everyone else up."
I looked at the clock, it was 5 in the freaking morning. No wonder I wasn't up yet. But Amy was, and when I came in with a fresh change of clothes, she was quick to note my presence and turned around. "So what's this mission about?"
"If only I knew." I sighed. Then went to one of the shower stalls.

-later-
I stepped in, a sweatshirt and my usual cargos along with a pair of combat boots and such kept me covered. Outside was Lefty and the rest of the recruits messing around on the icey paths, and they even tried to get me in the fun. I just was quick to get away, then gladed my way to the breifing room on the other side of the barracks.
I opened the door and came inside, And pretty much everyone was there, except General Brenite. I sighed and sat down at the first place I could find. Which turned out to be next to Nikolai and Soap.
The General came in and took a seat. He turned on a laptop and the screen on the wall came to life. A map went over our route we took, what did this have to do with anything? Finally he begun, "The route you took while in hiding was very interesting. It seems you were able to make all this ground in a matter of a month or two. But there was something else," The screen started to track a location not very far from the path near Siberia. "A base, you probably have seen it when you were taking Makarov with you for interogations before the chopper crash."
Soap nodded, "Yes, but we didn't bother with it."
"You see, we have some reason to believe that they are working on some new weapon, Something that we have reason to believe will be tested on the civilians of America. I need you to see that this weapon is distroied."
"Yes sir," Soap nodded.
"Anything else," Price asked crossing his arms seriously.
"We received a message, and I know for some of you this might be startling." He sighed. "Just see for yourselves." He then played a videomail.
And to our unsettling surprise, it was Makarov. But I killed him, I know I did unless... -FLASH-
I fired the gun, and the bullet pundged into his, side...... I had thought it killed him. I had thought I put an end to him, but he was only wounded! I'm so stupid!
-FLASH-
"Hello Task Force," He grinned menisingly. Just mocking our defeat. His face could almost hide his twisted pain. "I know you are surprised to see me, and I'm making this quick. I'm gonna be testing my new weapon out soon. So whose going to be the target?" An image flashed of the East Coast of America. "You have three days before that is gone. See you in hell."
Soap saw the confusion and newly forming sickness coming to my face.
"That message came in yesterday." The General told us. "Now we need you to get moving now, before he manages to suceed in this goal of his."
"Alright, so let's go," Price said.
"One more thing," The General continued. "We need him dead this time. No mistakes, and make sure of his death."
"Distroy the weapon, kill Makarov. Got it." Felspar said.
"Not as easy as you think kid." I sighed.
"Now go!" The General barked. And we were out of there. As we neared tthe helicopter Nikolai and Kamarov took the pilot seats and the rest of us sat on the benches as always. The unsettling truth of Makarov's welfare kept us to our thoughts. I felt so stupid for not comfirming the kill. Why does this always happen?

When we neared Siberia I felt so weird. Like I was just here or something. Even though this was a place we never had been to.
We had to parachute down, of course with me, I am the one who gets caught in the onnly tree in the freaking area. I unlatched the harnest and fell into the snow, near the others.
"So where's the base?" Felspar asked dumbly.
"Did you listen to the breifing at all?" Talons retorted.
"Cut the chatter," Soap told them strongly. "We've got to focus here."
We started to walk to the north. And soon froze as a tick was heard from my heartbeat sensor. "Five tangos ahead."
"Should we find cover?" Felspar questioned.
"No need," Soap told him. "The bizzard will cover us." He studied the route they were heading. "Everyone, cut behind them and take them out."
So we started to move again towards the group, and as he came up from behind some of us dre our knifes. And made quick work of these men.
"The base can't be too far," Price sighed. "We should keep moving." And continued to go in our general direction of north or so.
When we reached the base, very hard to miss, we snuck in and went straight towards what we thought was the place that the weapon would be in. THe armory or someplace where weapons would be stored.
"Remember, if we see Makarov then we kill him on sight." Soap reminded before opening the door. "So keep your eyes open."
And he turned it open, letting us all come in. But inside was nothing, just an empty room. An empty room with a loud speaker. Then not so much to my surprise a voice mocked, "I knew you'd come in and try to foil my plans. But now you will die."
It was of course Makarov, if you didn't guess already. But I shouted to the absent person, "Show yourself you coward!"
"Ah, you again," He hummed in a teasing tone. "I have special plans for you."
Then a guard grabbed me, but Soap retailiated, he went after the guard as I squirmed in the grip. But next thing I could tell, the guard pulled a trazor on him, and he fell to the ground. "No let me go damn it!"
And he pulled me out as I screamed and struggled.
