I woke up with a sleeping Luke on my lap. I whispered in his ear, "Lukey wake up." He wouldn't budge so I did what I had to. Tickle him. He hated when I tickled him, but I needed to since he wouldn't wake up. He instantly burst into laughter like a little boy. I loved his laugh.

"Lukey, wake up!!!"
"Cass it's 10:00 in the morning!"
"Get up, I'm going on a date with Tyler soon."
"Ugh, stay here so you can cuddle with meeeeee!!!"
"Luuuuke I have to go."

Luke and I have been best friends since birth. Our moms had been best friends so we were literally stuck with each other. Luke is 18 and I'm 17. I love Luke, I wouldn't be able to live without him.

We stayed on the couch for a good thirty minutes until I checked my phone.
"Oh shit, it's 10:30, I have to meet tyler at 11:00 for brunch!"
"Tyler's a dick. I don't even get why you date him."
I didn't answer. I knew that Luke wasn't the biggest fan of Tyler, but I love him anyways.
