After the party, Lucas and I didn't see each other again because I was busy packing my things to go back to San Ruiz.
"It seems like Mr. Alvarez has a crush on you, Reign" Pang-aasar ni dad habang umiinom ng kape. We woke up early because our plan was to leave at noon. We were at the dining table with my family and Manang Fe, along with Keisha and Uno.
"Dad! It's just a game, don't take it seriously." My attention is just focused on my coffee. "I saw the way he stared at you, Reign. I'm a man too, so I know when a man likes a woman, right Uno?" Dad's pronunciation was serious. I looked at Dad who smiled at Uno with a meaning.
Alam ba ni Dad? o Napansin niya? Uno just nodded and acted innocent. Our eyes met so I immediately turned to dad. "Mahilig ka kasi mag assume, dad!" Inirapan ko siya pero tumawa lang siya. Tahimik lang sina Manang fe, mommy at si Kuya Jacob na puyat kakababad niya sa selpon.
"Nga pala, Uno. If you want to go back to the mansion, the door is open for you." Dad said. I didn't join in the conversation between the two of them anymore and left the dining table.
I went to the balcony with my coffee and felt the cool breeze hitting my skin. The air here in Uno's province is really strange. I see gardeners with their horses, and cow's passing in front of the house.
While having coffee, I noticed three luxurious cars pulling out of the large gate of Hacienda Del Alvarejo. "Is he leaving? hindi niya man lang ako kinita" I don't know, but I'm a little sad and at the same time annoyed.
Bakit ko ba binigay sa kaniya ng dalawang beses ang katawan ko? Is it because I was angry with Uno that I was able to give myself to him?. "Fuck you!" Mahinang sabi ko tsaka huminga ng malalim.
"Reign!" Kuya Jacob's shout from the van. We're about to leave but I'm slowing down my movements. "Sandali! Nagmamadali?" Sigaw ko pabalik sa kaniya. Nasa labas na rin sila Manang Fe, Manong Ambo at Kuya Ash, ako na lang ang naiwan dito sa sala.
I remembered, I forgot my clothes in Lucas's room, paano ko 'yon kukunin pa kung aalis na kami? walanghiya!.
"Ano? Sasama ka ba pauwi o iiwan ka na namin dito?" Talagang nagmamadali na si Kuya Jacob. Parang may naiwang asawa talaga sa San Ruiz para mag madaling umuwi.
I left the house. I took a deep breath, I saw Daddy talking to Uno. Keisha was happily talking with their neighbors. Si mommy naman busy sa Ipad niya, halatang business naman ang inaatupag niya.
"Batuhin kita dyan eh" Kuya Jacob said angrily. "Ano ba ang kinaiinis mo? tsaka — bakit ka ba nagmamadali?" I asked him seriously. I put my stuff in the back where Mommy and Kuya's stuff was.
"Wala ka na do'n" Aniya tsaka binaling na lang ang atensyon niya sa hawak niyang selpon. Hindi rin nagtagal ay lumapit na si Dad. "Reign, Uno wants to talk to you for a moment." Dad said seriously, turning the key on his finger. Napatingin ako kay Kuya na ngayon ay nagtataka rin.
May-pinagusapan ba sila ni Uno at ni Daddy tungkol sa akin? Tungkol sa amin? Tangina, Reign! Walang kayo!.
"W-why?" Siguro kong hindi ako naglagay ng lipbalm siguro mapansin ni dad na namumutla na ako. Dad didn't say anything, so I walked over to Uno myself.
"Why? Keisha will definitely be jealous." Sarkastiko kong sabi. He just smiled. "Sorry, I don't know if I'll ever go back to the mansion. Kailangan ako ni Keisha dito, Reign." He said with sincerity in his voice.
Kahit 'wag ka na bumalik Uno. Hindi na kita kailangan, mas kailangan ka ng asawa mong maitim ang budhi. Mas maitim pa sa tuhod niya.
"It's okay, May kinuha naman rin si mom na ipapalit sayo" I said without emotion. It's not like before that I talk to Uno tenderly.
