"I'm interested in Sung Hanbin."
I stared at him blankly. Why was he saying this to me? Surely he knew we were together...
"And?" I replied
"I plan to pursue him...if that's okay with you..."
Did he not know or was he just plain ignorant? This sure was a confident thing to say to the guys actual boyfriend. I nodded slowly.
"You can try I suppose...I don't think you'll get anywhere with it though..." I chuckled. He towered over me, his fluffy brown hair sitting layered upon his head, framing his small face well. He was handsome, I could give him that. He had round eyes and sort of gave the impression of a deer. Even so, giving up Hanbin was something I would never do, ever. I refused to let him win.

Things had been awkward. Gyuvin and Hao had left the room together, leaving me there without a clue of what was going on.

Lunch was even more awkward. This wasn't even purgatory anymore, this was simply hell. It was the sly glances across the table that I couldn't decipher, the odd comment and the ignoring of my eyes. Neither of them could look at each other or even me anymore. After all the exhaustion of last week, I was being pushed to my limits.
I sat there as the rest of the group remained silent aswell, scared to intervene.
I was trapped in my own thoughts, making up my own scenarios of what could've happened between them.
Jiwoong suddenly pierced the silence, clearing his throat.
"I don't suppose anyone wants to go out for dinner later...?"
Taerae glanced over with wide eyes. He flickered his glance between Hao and Gyuvin and shook his head.
"I think I'm busy tonight, sorry Hyung. I'd love to another time..." I muttered.
"I didn't think so anyway, I had a gift card that's all."
I nodded and smiled awkwardly.

Everyone rushed out of the room when it was time to get back to our classes, eager to escape the atmosphere.

I sat in my studio and pondered for a while, but deep down I knew...

There was only one person I could find answers from right now. And it was possibly the one person in the entire world I wanted to speak to the least.

I opened Instagram on my phone and dug my way through Hao's following list once more, finding that annoying grainy profile picture of the two of them and clicking on the name.
I typed vigorously, detailing my trouble.

Me: It's Sung Hanbin. I'm giving in my pride to message you but...I really can't think of who else to ask right now. You left for China last night didn't you? Could we call whenever you have a minute to spare...

I watched as he came online, the 'typing' icon popping up on the screen.

Yuxuan: ask about what.

He was even rude over text, what an asshole...

Me: it would be easier to explain by talking to you about it...as I mentioned.

...

Yuxuan: I'm still in Korea. Meet me at this location at six.

He sent me the address of a park not far from my house. Why was he still in Korea...?

I left work without saying a word to anyone. If Hao didn't know that Jiahao was even still in the country I definitely couldn't tell him now. Besides, he might've lost his mind If he found out I was meeting up with Yuxuan.

I went to the park straight from work. It was up the hill and around the corner, down some side streets. Not too far from my high school, actually. I wandered down through the trees, the sun beating down on me, making me wonder if I'd worn enough sun cream. The paths were paved, winding around leading to a wooden bridge through which a small river ran underneath. A few dead blossoms littered the ground and the grass was neatly cut. As I made my way onto the bridge, I stopped, staring down at the river before I heard a voice behind me.
"You're early..."
I turned around, spotting him stood there. I glanced downward to meet his eye and frowned. Just looking at him made me annoyed.
"I'm doing you a favour here, don't just stand there and make faces at me." He sighed, looking off into the distance.
"Whatever, why are you in Korea anyway? Hao said-"
"Oh so you made up with him now? After all that stress you put him through..."
I clenched my fist, trying my hardest to stop myself from lashing out at him again.
"Just answer the question..."
"I lied to him, I'm not going until next week so I booked a hotel. I have some stuff to take care of."
I thought it best not to pry anymore, he seemed saddened by what he was explaining.
"Anyway...I have to ask you because there's been some trouble at work. Do you know Kim Gyuvin?"
"No. Who's that?" He asked with a scowl.
So he didn't even know who he was?
"Doesn't matter...another question."
"Is this 21 questions or what?"
"Just answer it."
He rolled his eyes.
"Why did we fight? I heard from Matthew that we had a big fight near to when I had my accident. What caused it?"
He seemed a little caught off guard by the query, but signed and began walking ahead of me. I followed behind and listened carefully.
"It pisses me off that you're still talking to Hao, and frankly if I had it my way you guys would've ended it then and there after that fight. I'm only telling you this because you don't remember it, and I'm not changing my opinion on you simply because you don't remember that it happened." He began, "for some time Hao had noticed this guy in first year had been following you around. He was in the student council with you and attended all of your dance performances. At first, Hao told me he thought he was just admiring you, but one day he came up to him and right out admitted to Hao's face that he liked you. Hao told me it ticked him off but he didn't do anything because he trusted you. But, I didn't give you the benefit of the doubt, and I started to notice the two of you hanging out a lot. It all got bad when I was walking with Hao and found the two of you together on the football pitch. You looked over to us, waved, turned your head back and kissed him. I lost it. I do admit I punched you a bit too hard but I don't regret it. Hao couldn't believe it. That was the day before the two of you visited your family too. He must've been so upset...that's why I can never forgive you."
