They watched as Lin dipped Kath in a playful dance move, almost toppling them both. As Anil fed Pin a strawberry. As Bua ran from Marble, the family dog, while Phin laughed so hard she fell off the blanket.

Kath raised her glass. "Our legends."
Bua smiled, eyes warm. "To Freen and Becky."
Lin and Phin echoed together, "To Forever."
Becky blinked back tears. Freen kissed her knuckles.
They clinked glasses, and as the stars began to twinkle above—
