Sequel to the story "When the Script Changes."
This one, will follow Freen and Becky as they navigate life as new parents, balancing their love, responsibilities, and the chaos of raising Mon and Pin while still keeping their relationship strong.
Everything else faded away—the guests, the soft music, even the warmth of the sun sinking lower in the sky. All that was left was this moment.
Them.
The officiant smiled, looking at Mon first.
"Do you, Kornkamon Armstrong-Chankimha, take Samanan Anantrakul to be your lawfully wedded wife? To love and to cherish, in good times and bad, for as long as you both shall live?"
Mon's lips trembled.
She already felt the tears building up again, her chest so full of love she thought it might burst.
She squeezed Sam's hands.
"I do."
Her voice didn't shake—it was sure, steady, and filled with every promise she had ever made.
Sam's fingers curled tighter around hers.
The officiant turned to her next.
"And do you, Samanan Anantrakul, take Kornkamon Armstrong-Chankimha to be your lawfully wedded wife? To love and to cherish, in good times and bad, for as long as you both shall live?"
Sam never hesitated.
"I do."
Two words.
But in them was everything.
A lifetime of promises. A lifetime of forever.
The officiant smiled.
"Then, by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you wives."
Mon's breath hitched.
The moment she had dreamed of for years—
The moment she had prayed for, fought for, loved for—
Was here.
"You may now seal your vows with a kiss."
The world exploded into cheers, laughter, applause—
But Mon?
Mon was already moving.
Already stepping forward.
Already pulling Sam in.
And then—
Lips met.
Soft. Warm. Perfect.
The moment Sam kissed her back, the world melted away completely.
She didn't hear the cheers.
She didn't hear the whistles or Becky's loud, obnoxious "That's my girl!"
All she felt was Sam.
Her hands, firm yet gentle, cupping her face like she was something precious.
Her lips, pressing into hers like she was something sacred.
Sam was her home.
Her always.
And Mon?
She never had to dream anymore.
Because this?
This was real.
And it was forever.
