For centuries, Aurelio knew only one life—the one Aro gave him. Turned at sixteen in 1200 BC Greece, Aurelio was handpicked by Aro himself, chosen for one simple reason: he looked like a perfect mirror of Aro's younger self. But it wasn't just appearance. Upon turning, Aurelio developed the rare ability to replicate other vampires' powers through eye contact, becoming Aro's ultimate weapon and protégé—the heir to the Volturi throne. Yet, beneath the surface, Aurelio was hollow, stripped of his past, his name, and his identity, existing solely as Aro's reflection.
