Wesley Ellis has spent over 60 years as a Whitelighter, faithfully guiding young witches and future protectors of good. Always cheerful, always optimistic, Wesley follows the Elders' orders without question—but never without a teasing smile or a well-placed joke. When he's sent to monitor the Charmed Ones and assess their Whitelighter, Leo, he sees it as just another routine assignment. That is, until he meets Cole Turner.

Cole is everything Wesley isn't—intense, brooding, and dangerously charming. A lawyer by day and a ruthless demon by blood, he has spent his existence manipulating and eliminating threats to the underworld. Tasked by the Triad to destroy the Charmed Ones, Cole is ready to do whatever it takes to get close to them. But Wesley? Wesley is an unexpected distraction.
