"It took me a long time to realise I could love again but you made that easy." He hummed. "I would say things turned out pretty good for the both of us." He chuckled to himself, looking down at his lap.

"More than good." Suki paused for a moment as she felt the pain rise up inside her again. "In-ho..." she gasped, her hand gripping the edge of the bathtub as he turned to look at her. He raised an eyebrow. Her knuckles turned white as she gripped the porcelain, his hand placed firmly on top.

"Don't tell me it's happening again." He gave a concerned look as he watched her face twist. She didn't respond as she gritted her teeth. "Suki." He knew she was hiding something now. Hiding the full extent of her pain.

"In-ho." She mocked his tone, but her face fell the moment she noticed how he looked worried for her. They were just braxton hicks. They would go away. But he really wasn't convinced.

"Now is not the time for stubborn because if this is labour we need to contact the midwife." He panicked slightly, they remembered exactly what she had said. Suki was high risk. Any sign of labour would be a trip to the hospital right away. He almost wanted to call her for Suki but everything in them hoped for a false alarm.

"I don't know. Let's just monitor it a bit longer. I still have four weeks until my due date and my waters haven't broken." Suki confirmed. She was still on bed rest. He could monitor her from there if they needed to.

"Okay. I think we should get you out of the bath and into some fresh clothes." She nodded. He helped her out of the bath slowly as she wrapped herself into a towel, drying herself as best as she could. He helped her down the hall into the bedroom as she reached for fresh clothes. Just then, the doorbell rang through the house.

"That's probably Hye-won. Are you able to go and grab that? I can get myself ready." She gave him a quick kiss of reassurance as he nodded.

"Okay, you just call me if you need anything." He walked away from the bedroom as he closed the door behind him. She began to put on fresh clothes as she struggled hard. Until she felt a trickle of something between her legs and that all familiar sharp pain.

"Oh no..."

IN-HO'S POV

He had not been convinced by Suki's braxton hicks. He had done enough reading to know that they were not supposed to be regular like this. As he walked down the stairs, he put on a smile as he opened the front door. "In-ho!" The woman greeted him, throwing her arms around him. Hye-won was drsssed head to toe in warm, winter clothing as he finally felt the cool hair hit him. He beckoned her in as he closed the door behind her. "Where's my favourite sister?" She looked around for her.

"She's your only sister. And she's upstairs getting ready at the moment." He raised an eyebrow as she began to take off her hat and scarf.

"Yeah I know, that's why she's my favourite. How is she doing?" She questioned. They had made sure to keep the family as updated as possible but Hye-won knew her sister just as well as In-ho. He couldn't quite lie to her — mostly due to fear of her making him the frontman again.

He hesitated for a second. "Oh, she's..."

But their conversation was interrupted by Suki upstairs. "In-ho!" She cried out as he rushed up the stairs, towards their bedroom. His heart pounding as he wanted to know what was wrong. It wasn't like her to cry his name like that.
