SUKI WAS GETTING sick of spending time in that dingy hospital. Every visit, every scan, every check up was draining her both physically and mentally. But she was half way through her pregnancy now and was very grateful to have two healthy babies growing inside her. She was enjoying the ordered bed rest from her doctor. She finally felt human again. She had to admit, she missed her work friends and doing things dearly, but In-ho had found ways to cheer her up and keep her sane.
Her infection had cleared and she had no scares since. Both didn't want to admit the pain they had that day. He just couldn't imagine losing another person in his life.
They had reached many milestones together. Finally deciding to house search, spending time with friends and family. But the most important one was the first time they felt both babies move. It had been emotional for both of them.

"What do you want for dinner today?" In ho asked as they sat down on the sofa together. It was a rainy Saturday, enough excuse for them to sit around all day in comfy clothes and watch TV. Suki didn't mind, she was certainly feeling her pregnancy now. Her small bump had doubled in size. She still looked perfect.
"You know what, I'm going to let you sur...oh!" She gasped as she felt the first flutter. Her mouth fell open as she felt a wave of emotion run through her.
"Suki, what's wrong?" But she had let out the biggest smile as she grabbed his hand, placing it down to her stomach underneath her shirt as she placed her hand on top of his.
"Do you feel that?" She asked, his eyes focused on hers as he nodded, tears brimming in his eyes.
"Suki is that...?" He was in disbelief as he held his hand there.
"Our first kicks. Yeah." She nodded.
"Oh my god." He looked up at her, both of them in tears. "Suki, this is..." but he was lost for words. There was no way to describe just how this had made him feel. It was surreal, a fever dream.
"And again, up here." She moved his hand.
"Both of them." He reached down to her bump, placing a delicate kiss where his hand had once been. "Hey little ones, we're so excited to meet you. Please be kind to your mama. She loves you both so much and so do I."
