Mel says, “Okay.” as I hang up the phone tossing it into the passenger seat.

“What’s going on?” asked a puzzled Louis.

“I have to go, I’ll call you later.” I said as I started the car and pulled out the driveway.

---------------------

Speeding to the flat I was so happy that there was no cops in sight. I would have gotten at least 3 different tickets. 1 for speeding, 1 for reckless driving, and 1 for running mulitple red lights. Perks with having experience were I had to out run the cops in high speed chases, shit actual paid off.

-----------------

Pulling up into the driveway I see Mel's car sitting there untouched. Before I could even turn off my car I swung my door open, killed the engine, slamming my door as I ran to the flat. The door was covered in dents clear that some was trying to kick the door down. Good thing this school requires steel doors to be installed. Shoving my key into the lock I swung the door open to see glass covering the whole living room floor. Looking around I could see the balcony chairs were now on top of the couches. Bastard probably threw it trying to get in

Running to my room I threw open my door and walked to the closet. Opening it Mel pointed the gun on me as I quickly say, “Whoa! Wait it’s just me!” as I throws my hands up as and take a step back.

Mel rubs her eyes as she blinks and says, “Niall?” in a soft unsure voice.

“It’s me, so why don’t we slowly put the gun down.” I said motioning her to drop the gun. Dropping the gun next to her, Mel jumps up and into my arms as she start to cry. “Shhh Princess, everything is going to be fine. I’m here you don’t have to worry, I’m not going to leave you.” I say as I pulled her close to my laying her head on my chest. Struggling between chocked up sobs Mel asks, “Niall what the hell is going on?”

Melissa POV

“I don’t know, but we need to get out of here.” Said Niall.

“And go where? Shouldn’t we call the cops?” I asked looking up at Niall.

“Princess the cops aren’t going to do shit, their going to come ask a whole lot of annoying questions then tell you they’ll find who did it, but by the time they leave they’ll get a fresh box of donuts and forget all about it.” says Niall as he runs his hand over my back.

“Then what do we do?”

“I’ll call the campus security tell them someone broke in, and that nothing is missing." he pauses, "I just don’t want you here when I do it.”

My mind is in a complete cluster fuck and even though calling the cops is the best thing to do, I trust Niall and right now what he is saying makes sense. Nodding I say, “Where are we going?”

Niall pulls from me as he says, “Somewhere safe.” Niall leans down and picks up the gun as he turns around to me taking my hand into his as he says, “Come on.” Following Niall through the living room I step over glass as I shove my phone in pocket. Niall stops at the couch shaking glace off my purse as he hands it to me as we walk out.

Niall opens the passenger door for me as I climbed in. Running around to the driver side I looked at Niall and said, “What about my car? I can’t leave it here.”

Niall groans as he picks up his phone and makes a call, “Hey. No everything isn’t good. I’ll explain later. No asshole I need you to pick up a car for me. Yes at my campus flat. I don’t care how you get here, take a damn cab! Alright I’ll put the keys under the hood.” Niall holds his hand out to me as I drop my car keys into his hands. Climbing out the car he pops the hood to my car as he sits the keys there. Getting back in the car he says, “A mate of mine is going to come get it. It’ll be fine.” Nodding I lean back and in the seat as Niall pulls out the driveway.
