*your p.o.v*

I sat staring at the road, watching the cars speed by. I look down at my hands. They are really cold, but it's really hot in L.A.

Dark hit my hands. I remember I shielded my face with my hands. I hear footsteps on the sidewalk coming closer to me. I look up to see Mark running towards me. He had a bloody lip and nose. His left eyes was bruised and swollen.

"Mark what happened?" I get up and hold his face in my hands. I wipe away the blood with my sleeve.

"I-it's Dark." He stuttered out. I wrap my arms around his to support his weight on his legs.

"Where is he?" I say as I wrap one arm around him and put his other arm on my shoulder.

"He's coming back" he stutters out as we slowly walk back to the apartment.

When we arrive at the apartment, I sit him down in the stairs and tell him to wait till I got back. He slowly shook his head then grabbed my hand.

"P-please don't go back in there." He says pulling me back.

"I'll be back, I'll be fine. Promise." I say as I look into his chocolate brown eyes. He nods his head and slowly let's go of my hand.

I open the apartment door and walk in.

"Come and get me you bastard! You brought me here for a reason, now come and show me why I'm here!" I yell. The door then slams shut and a gust of wind blows my hair back.

Dark slowly walks down the stairs and smiles grimly.

"Back so early?" He laughs and walks up to my face. I can feel the cold radiating off his body. His red eyes stared into mine as he grabbed me by the waist and pulled me closer.

He leans in my ear and whispers.

"I'll show you while you're here, darling."
