Merlin,what the hell is going on

ok, so this one is the one for the book, not the last once sorry, i forgot I was supposed to do this one! Oops! MY bad!!!! So, lets get to it! Hehe sorry again Merlinians!

Also I feel like I should clarify that this is set in their time, not modern time even tho there's something from modern times in the end

Merlin sighed as he plopped on his bed after a long day of chores. He had to get up at first light just to be able to eat, clean his own chambers, organize some herbs for Gaius and get one or two chores done before waking Arthur, plus he only got 4 hours of sleep since he had stayed up all night before as he had to finish his chores from the day before and the night before that he got to bed two hours before first light and the night before that- well, you get the idea, let's just say he hasn't gotten over 5 hours of sleep for over two weeks. Today, He had mucked out the stables, water and fed the horses, walked the dogs, polished Arthur's armor, sharpened his sword, cleaned his boots, did his laundry, cleaned his chambers, brought Arthur his meals, Trained with Arthur, went hunting, which resulted in him skinning it, cleaning it, preparing it, cooking it, serving it and carrying all the weapons , he had went on a hunt for some herbs for Gaius, but took too long so he ended up in the stocks, he delivered some medicines, went to the library and researched some stuff for Gaius, deal with Arthur's pretense and Gwaine's drunkenness and he had to deal with all the newly knighted people on patrol. All in all, he was freaking tired. It was the lighter hours when he finally got to bed.

When he woke up, he wasn't in his bed. He could feel he was up against a tree and he could here birds chirping and the quiet whispers of people, obviously trying not to wake him up.

" - Arthur! We will not wake him, between you and Gaius, he has been over working himself. I woke up in the middle of the night and he was walking to his chambers, it was the wee hours of night, almost daytime in fact! I woke up anther morning and it must've been an hour after first light and he was mucking out the stables. I've hardly seen him eat a lick for days and I can't have been the only one to notice the bags under his eyes and how tired he looks every day! We will let him sleep until he wakes up on his own!" Merlin could hear Gwen lecturing Arthur on letting him sleep apparently

" yeah Arthur, and I heard from a bartender he came out to the tavern in the early morning to grab me and drag me out to my room and the bartender said he looked like he hadn't slept a wink. Besides he has a lot of chores between you and Gaius and you throwing him in the stocks yesterday didn't help!" Gwaine added

" I suppose I have been a bit harsh on his lately" Arthur murmured

" A bit? Sire, knowing Merlin, he probably has slept barely a wink the past few weeks, you know him" Leon said

" Knowing Merlin, yeah" Arthur chuckled a little

" Why do you think we are here? And what's Merlin got to do with this? I mean he is my friend, but to other kingdoms and everyone, he is just servant, Why is he here?" Elyan questioned

" It is good to know that the young warlock is good at keeping his secrets" Kilgaharrah said as he flew in

" A dragon? A talking dragon? B-But how? I-I killed you!" Arthur said

" You wake up and I am gone and he tells you that you killed me and there is no body?" Kilgaharrah asks, chuckling a bit

" Well when I look at it that way" Arthur trails off

" Look, what are we all doing here?" Gwaine asks

"why don't you ask the young warlock" Kilgaharrah says making Merlin sigh inwardly

" This is what, the 7th or 8th time you've interrupted my sleep, you overgrown lizard, you know I don't know and you just want to prove I'm awake. Now, no riddles this time or I will make sure you can't fly for a week, what the bloody hell do you want kilgharrah?" Merlin asked while being a bit frustrated , also making all eyes turn to him

" Am I hearing things or did Merlin just threaten and insult a dragon who is apparently is named Kilgaharrah?" Gwaine asked

" No, I said it, and I want answers Kilgaharrah" Merlin said, turning to the annoying dragon

" I found a way" He said simply

" A way for- oh no. Please tell me this is a dream or prank or something, you can't be serious" Merlin groaned

" Wait, what? What's going on?" Leon asked

" Where are the others?" Merlin asked

" They will be here soon" Kilgaharrah promised

"Where are the supplies" Merlin asked

" It'll be here when the rest get here, I sent Athusia to get them" kilgaharrah said

" Can she be trusted with that? I don't want their heads getting all mixed up or finding someone's ear on an elbow or something like that!" Merlin asked

" You have to give her a chance she's new at it!" Kilgaharrah said

" Hey! I have been giving her chances! It's you-" Merlin started before being interrupted by Arthur

"ALRIGHT WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON MERLIN" He yelled, confused by what was going on

" Ooh Do you feel better dollop head? Anyway, it's nothing just two dragons who are set on ruining my sleep" Merlin laughed
" Wah- I don't under- what?! What does that even mean?!" Arthur yammered

" I think you broke him" Kilgaharrah said

" Yes, I broke King Prat's brain, however little it is, not the supposedly dead, talking, magic dragon who attacked Camelot!" Merlin rolled his eyes

" And If I hadn't you'd had never met your dad!" Kilgaharrah pointed out

" Yeah, and he'd still be alive" Merlin said " Can you get Athusia to hurry up? I'm not explaining twice!" Merlin said

" She'll be-" The lizard started, before stopping at the sight of her " see! She's here!"

When the white dragon arrived, eight people came with- Hunith, Gaius, Will, Freya, Balinor, Morgana, Lancelot, and Uther.

"OK MERLIN WHY ARE THERE DEAD AND EVIL PEOPLE WITH HUNITH AND GAIUS HERE?!" Arthur screamed

" Ah yes, you see, I made a bet with the overgrown lizard-well, more of a deal. I said he could figure out a way for you guys to see the truth and he said he could, will even rising people from the dead temporarily and blocking off Morgana's magic too. I also said, if he did find a way, I give him permission to prove it-mainly because I thought he couldn't do it. Apparently he found a way and it just couldn't wait until morning" Merlin explained and rolled his eyes

" I can't say I'm not curious about how that even got brought up, but what do you mean the truth?" Gwen asked

" Yes, that will be explained in the showing of it. What way did you find?" Merlin asked

" The future is the key" Kilgaharrah said

" I said no riddles! Though I'm glad I at least get what you're saying this time" Merlin said

"It's not a very good riddle then" Kilgaharrah pouted? ( can dragons pout?)

" What's happening?" Uther asked

" We've been trying to get that out of him this whole time" Arthur groaned

" Kilgaharrah, just start it, It'll explain itself" Merlin groaned

A black box appeared and it turned on, showing Merlin walking alone, going up a hill with Kilgaharrah talking

" No man, no matter how great can know his destiny-"

" SORCERY" Uther yelled

" It's not magic shut up!"
