She backed away and stood behind the door as she contemplated.

"What is this place..?"

"Who's that?"

"Huh?!"

She stiffened up suddenly as she saw the lady walk out. Her eyes widened as she tried to remain calm. Before she could bow and apologise, the lady walked past her.

"Huh..? How did she not see me?"

She frowned in confusion and disbelief. Her eyes tracked the lady as she walked farther away. As the lady walked a few more steps, it hit her.

"Oh..I don't belong here. No wonder she couldn't see me.."

Before the lady disappeared from her view an idea hit her. As she didn't have any knowledge of what to do and how to get out of this place, she decided to follow her.

Quickly, she closed the distance between them. She even noticed that the lady didn't seem to hear her footsteps. Y/N was relieved as she didn't have to be careful.

She followed her trail until she turned and walked into a room. On the way, she noticed how tidy and formal the house looked, complimenting it every-time when she saw something that caught her attention, which almost everything did.

Y/N closed the distance and took the turn to enter the room but, she halted, her eyes widening and mouth parting in disbelief as she saw who the lady was speaking to.

"What the fuck? How?!"

She exclaimed as she looked at a doppelgänger of herself in a rich, multi-layered ensemble that seemed to radiate elegance and nobility. The dress, with its vibrant layers of deep red, green, and gold silk, flowed gracefully around her, each layer adding depth and refinement. Wide sleeves extended to the floor, giving her an aura of grace, while the floor-length bottom completed the formal, dignified look. Her hair was put up into a traditional updo, secured with simple yet refined hairpins.

For a moment, she felt as if she had stepped into the world of ancient nobility.

Her eyes shifted to the man her doppelgänger was speaking to. He wore a traditional robe, formal and dignified, with wide sleeves that flowed elegantly. The fabric, in muted earthy tones of deep blue, bore subtle patterns. A structured belt accentuated the layered design of the robe, adding a touch of refinement to his appearance. Atop his head sat a traditional hat, complementing his simple, clean hairstyle.

As her eyes shifted to his face, her eyes narrowed in surprise.

"Sukuna?"

"No..wait.."

She squinted her eyes to get a clearer look, she saw that the man did have pink hair but his eyes weren't crimson. Also his features much softer than that of the King of Curses.

Before she could even think anything, somebody just walk past her own body as if it was all in a gaseous form. Her body stiffening instantly as the person walked through. She looked at him from behind. His stride emitting authority.

The man's pink hair caught her attention first, her eyes fixated on it until he just stepped right beside her doppelgänger.

Her jaw dropped to the floor as she took in his attire, he wore a flowing, multi-layered robe in deep crimson and ivory, matching with subtle hints of gold that mirrored the elegance of her doppelgänger's dress. The robe's wide sleeves wrapped gracefully, and intricate patterns woven into the fabric added a sophistication to his presence. A traditional hat rested atop his head, complementing his neatly styled hair. His outfit, both formal and warm, seemed perfectly crafted to match hers. Together, they looked like a pair from a tale.
