~Heather~

When we had arrived in NY, we headed straight to the hotel because Liah was complaining of jet-lag which is complete bullshit because we didn't even switch time zones, but that's Liah for you. Always the dramatic one.

After checking in, we were given our suit number and then we headed upstairs to just lum out for the rest of the day.

"Unbelievable!" Liah shrieked as we all sat around the living room pouring over the room service menus.

"What?" I asked, looking up at her.

"They don't have a plain rice option!" She freaked.

"Just order something else then," Caitlin said.

"But I want rice!" She whined.

"Why don't you have pasta or something? You like pasta," Carmen suggested.

"No, I'm going to the info desk to find out why they'd do this," She said adamantly as she got up and walked out the room.

"Heather, you go sort it out," Caitlin said.

Usually when Liah flips about something, I end up having to calm her down. It's not that it deeply affects her or anything, but her mood swings are pretty violent.

"Liah! Wait up!" I called as I ran into the elevator just as the doors closed.

"I just want rice," She sulked.

"I'll go to the sushi place down the road and get you some," I offered.

"Thanks," She mumbled. "But I still wanna give them a pice of my mind."

The doors opened and we were faced with the lobby.

"Good-for-nothing-hotel-that-doesn't-serve-rice-as-a-single-option," She muttered as she walked to the info desk just as I spotted the bandanad head that belonged to Taylor Caniff.

"Hey, Heather," He grinned at me as the other guys came into view.

"Hey," I said, returning the grin.

"You guys checked in yet?" Cameron asked.

"Yeah, but Liah just flipped her switch because of the no single serve rice option," I giggled as we watched Li stand in the line looking impatient as ever.

"What's with her and rice?" Matt asked with a laugh.

"No idea. Its been a thing since high school," I told them as we walked to the check in desk which was right next to the information desk. As we got there, Liah got to the front of the line.

We all couldn't help but let out a laugh as she realised that only her nose reached up to the desk.

"Jesus, bloody desk," She muttered before putting both her hands on top of it and then pushing herself up and then leaning on her arms.

"I never realised how short she is," Taylor whispered into my ear with a chuckle.

"Miss, there just isn't a single serve option for that meal," The lady behind the desk was saying to Liah.

"Yes, and I'm asking why. I don't understand," Liah shot back.

"It just isn't on the menu," The lady said, looking like she was getting impatient, but knowing my best friend, she wasn't gonna give up.

"Was there never the consideration that maybe some people only prefer rice?" She asked.

"If I may ask, why are you coming down to complain? Wouldn't your mom or dad come down?" The lady asked her.

"Excuse me?" Liah asked. "How old do you think I am?" She scoffed.

"I didn't mean any offence miss, its just that I don't usually have fourteen year olds complaining to me," she said with a raised eyebrow.

I couldn't help but cringe.

"All hell will now boil over," I muttered to the boys.

"Fourteen? Fourteen! I'm almost nineteen thank you very much! I mean, just the thought of you saying that makes me want to throw up! I'm maybe not as tall as I should be for my age, but I do not look fourteen years old!" She snapped at the lady.

"This is just fresh," Carter laughed as he had his phone out and was videoing the whole scene.

Before she could loose her shit anymore with the woman, I grabbed Liah by the torso and dragged her away from the desk.

"Heather, did you hear her! Fourteen! She thinks I'm fourteen!" She whined.

"Awwe, Li, don't worry about her. I think you look nineteen," I told her, hoping it would calm her down.

"Can this place get anymore offensive?!" She snapped. "First no rice, now this!"

"Liah, are you okay?" We heard Carter ask as he and the guys approached us.

"No," She groaned. "I mean, do I look fourteen to you?"

I looked at the guys basically screaming that if they know what's good for them, they'll disagree.

"No, not at all," He said as mumbles of no came from the other guys.

"Ugh, all I wanted was rice," She whined as we walked towards the elevator.

"This a usual thing?" Taylor asked me in a whisper.

"Hence why she runs the rants section of our channel," I giggled.

Coincidentally, the guys were on the same floor as us, only a few rooms down.

"Hey, Heather?" Taylor pulled me back as I was about to go into my suit.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Uh, I heard you're a fan of pizza so uh, I was wondering if you wanted to go to Dominos with me?" He asked sheepishly.

"Uh, yeah, sure," I said, feeling my cheeks start to heat up.

"Great, uh, meet you in ten?" He asked.

"See you then," I smiled as I slipped into the room, resisting the urge to freak out.

I'm legitimately about to go out for pizza with Taylor Caniff.
