It's been a week or so of Hank and Charles taking the serum. Everything seems to be going well. Hank discovered that if he gets too emotional he'll turn into his beast form. This is how it happened.
"Hank, I don't know, but I think Charles is taking way too much of that serum." I said to Hank when we were in his lab one day.
"Meg, I think he's fine, don't worry." Hank replied.
"I'm serious, Hank. He looks out of it. It seems like he never sleeps. I'm really worried." I explained.
"So what do you suggest I do?! Make him stop taking it!!" Hank yelled.
"Maybe?" I answered.
"You just don't want him using my serum. You're just jealous because it worked!" Hank screamed.
"What?" I asked.
"Don't...." Hank yelled before growling and changing into his blue form.
I realized immediately what happened.
"Hank, calm down." I said.
"No." He growled and ran towards me pining me on the ground.
As he looked into my eyes he must have come to a realization as he snapped out of it and stood up, slowly backing away from me.
"Meg, I'm sorry." He said.
"Hey, no worries. I'm glad we figured this out now." I smiled.
We hugged and everything was okay.
Now I sat on the couch watching TV while Hank talked to Charles. We were trying to get him to only take the serum once a day, but even our best efforts weren't working.
I wasn't really interested in the news I was watching until something piked my interest.
"President Kennedy was killed last night by a bullet miraculously curving through the air." The newscaster said. I immediately looked up.
"The bullet at first seemed like it wasn't aimed at the president but then it curved and killed him. You're probably wondering who could've curved a bullet. It's an act that doesn't even seem humanly possible.
A couple years ago mutants were discovered during the Cuban Missile Crisis. One team of mutants were trying to start a nuclear war while the other team of mutants were trying to stop them." The anchor continued.
"HANK!!!" I screamed. There's only one person I know who could control metal. Hank came in a matter of seconds.
"One mutant in particular at this event almost killed the whole U.S navy by stopping the rockets that were shot at him and his friends and sending them back to where they came from. He eventually dropped them in the ocean in a fight with another mutant. We believed he could control metal.
This man was found at the killing of the president. We are almost positive he is responsible. We now know he can control metal.
He has been arrested and put in a metal free prison 100 floors under the pentagon." The news story ended and Hank and I immediately looked at one another.
"CHARLES!! We both shouted. I ran to Charles, Hank following close behind.
"Meg, what is it?" Charles asked annoyed.
"It's Eric!" Hank said.
"What do you mean?" Charles asked.
"Eric curved a bullet and killed the president. He's been arrested and put in a non-metal prison 100 floors beneath the pentagon." I explained.
"What?" Charles asked.
After explaining to Charles what happened Hank and I ended up where we always ended up. Yep, the lab.
"I can't believe Eric did that!" I said to Hank.
"I know. I never thought he could be so cruel." Hank replied.
"I just can't believe what he's turned into." I told Hank. "I can't believe that this is who he became."
Hello,
So I really don't know what to say down here today. Other than I'm still hyped for Apocalypse. And yeah.
QOTD: if you could have one mutation, only one(it can't be the mutation to have all mutations) what would it be?
AOTD: One hundred percent, telekinesis.
