"MEG!!!" I heard Sean yell. "MEG! CAN YOU HEAR ME?"
"SEAN!!" I screamed back facing the wall.
"Can you use your mutations?" Sean asked lowering his voice.
"No, you?" I replied.
"Nope." He answered.
I started crying. I didn't know what to do.
"Meg, please don't cry, it'll all be okay. I won't let anything happen to you. Promise." Sean said.
"Okay." I replied.
"BOTH OF YOU GONTO BED AND STOP SCREAMING! I'M TRYING TO SLEEP!!" Eric yelled.
"Goodnight." Sean whispered.
"Goodnight." I whispered back.
I climbed into the creaky bed with thin blankets. I felt a deep sadness in my heart. I missed Charles and Hank already. No one can even mention Alex without me crying.
I had a feeling sleep wasn't going to come easily. This place was flipping creepy.
"GET UP! BREAKFAST!" Eric screamed.
I sat up and realized that I actually slept. Wow.
I stood up and walked to the door, which had been unlocked. I opened the door, it creaked loudly as I pushed it.
That same moment Sean came out of his room. He ran over to me and hugged me. I hugged him back, not wanting to let go.
Sean had to same cuffs on his ankles and wrists. What were the science of these. Hank would know. Hank. I missed his scientific rants even though I didn't understand them and half the time I didn't listen.
Sean and I both walked to the kitchen. The tiles were chipped and none of the cabinets had doors. The table was white, well it used to be. Now it's like a grayish, black as it was covered in first and the paint was scrapped off. The chairs looked the same way.
"Made waffles. Eat one." Eric said as we sat down at the table.
That's what he said to me on my first day of training. He made me waffles.
Sean and I ate in silence. When we were done, we were sent to our rooms again and were told that we couldn't come out until lunch.
I sat in my room bored out of my mind. It kind of reminded me of when I first arrived at the CIA facility and Eric locked me in a room for safety. I was so bored. I had nothing to do. Kind of like this. We ended up being attacked and the building collapsed on me. I woke up with a broken leg.
Now that I think of it the events are more similar than I thought.
Okay, I need to stop thinking.
I went over to the desk and picked up the pen. I started to write.
Dear Hank,
It's not as bad as you may think it is. Sean and I are locked in two different bedrooms with cuffs on our wrists and ankles that stop us from using our mutations. We only see each other during meals.
The house we are in is basically falling apart. It's disgusting and creepy.
I really miss you and Charles. I hope everything's going okay. I hope the school is doing fine.
Don't give up hope Hank. Don't give up hope.
Love,
Meg
Wow a new chapter that quickly! Oh, yes! I had a creative spark! Have you guys seen the pictures of the cast in Montreal. I almost screamed. How do you feel about them.
Question: What got you into X-men?
(You guys should answer too!)
Answer: Honestly, I loved Jennifer Lawrence and the Hunger Games. I also loved Nicholas Hoult in Warm Bodies and Jack the Giant Slayer. So X-men seemed right up my alley. It took a lot of convincing for my family to watch it, but when I saw the preview for DOFP they agreed. I loved the movie, although, somehow I got Eric and Charles confused and thought Raven kissed her brother. I fell in love with the actors and immediately became a fan. I've seen First Class and Days of Future Past. Along with bits and pieces from the previous five. I would love to see the first five in the future.
