Chapter 16: Tease the Prey

[J-Hope's POV]

The way she leans into my chest made her look different. She is a crazy angel I will admit but I never knew that a crazy angel can look this vulnerable. Even now as she stare at me with the high afternoon sun shining down on her, she still look as vulnerable as before. 

"N-no...I'm not okay." She breathe out. 

"If anything, I am not okay." She fire back again with more power to her voice. "Because of you...I feel like this. All of this guilt and sick feeling...is all because of you." 

"Yah...don't blame me because you fell for this handsome face!" I exclaim, a bit confuse as to why she was blaming me for something I did cause. But she willingly fell for me right?

"Ahhh...forget it." She groan as she place her hand on her forehead. "Just forget all about what I said or did to you in the past few days...just forget it as if it never happen." 

Jae Hwa's usual serious face return but her eyes reflects how vulnerable she is right now. She turn but before she could even take a step farther away from me, I took a hold of her arm. I couldn't just let her go without hearing my feelings...that would just be stupid of me. 

"How can I just forget those wonderful moments...where WE were actually a couple." I pull her back to face me. 

She struggle against my hold and when I let her arms go, she walk off again. I ran in front of her and held her by her shoulder this time. I want nothing more than for her to share her feelings but I knowing a girl like her, she wouldn't even if the world depended on it. 

"Stop playing so hard to get before I kick you in the butt." I jokingly threaten her while loosing my grips on her shoulder. 

Though those words were a bit harsh of a joke, what I really wanted to say was Don't be afraid...I am figuring this out as well. but nothing like that left my lips. 

"Now you're threatening me again??" She smacks my hands off her shoulders. "Listen and listen very carefully...I like you but I don't want to put my effort into something that will end up destroying me." 

She pause for a slight moment and look deep into my eyes to show that she wasn't joking around. I could tell she was serious but that takes a lot of acting skill to say something and look like you mean it but you don't actually mean it. 

"I fell for you harder than I expected but I can't be in a relationship with you, especially with this guilt of lying to you eating me up." 

"Then tell me what you lied about, tell me how you feel about me besides 'I like you' and release all of your emotion so WE can be a real thing." I laugh , though it didn't sound like one.  

"I use you for experience to write an ar-"

"Tell me something I DON'T know." I interrupt her explanation. I knew she use me for an article the moment I laid eyes on the papers this morning. The moment she requote one of my phrases...I am not as stupid as she gives me credit for. 

"If you wanted to keep THIS a secret from me." I point to the papers in her hand to put more emphasizes on it. "Then you shouldn't have left it lying around. It would also have been a good idea to proof read it when you are fully awake because throughout this whole article, "J-Hope's lips." were written in there like ten times." 

Her face turn full tomato red when she look down at the words I was pointing to. Pulling the paper behind her back, she try to make her way around me but I quickly took a side step to block her way again. Jae Hwa's head was slight bent down so that the only thing she saw was the ground. Taking a step closer to her until we were only a breath away, I bend down and look up into those now child-like eyes. 

"I already deleted the video when you agreed to be my girlfriend..." I whisper, slightly moving up until my cheek softly graze over her red cheek. 

"Don't make me regret it." With that, I grab her chin and lift it up so that I was hovering over her and not the other way around. 

We stood like that for a few seconds before I took her into my arms and let my hands wonder to her lower back. I didn't care if she did that to me, I was just glad she feels the same way I do. 

But instead of staying in my embrace and letting me stay in hers', she push me away. Her eyes show a weakness that made me want to take advantage of this moment and bite her. Not literally bite her but you know what I mean. 

"I already told you to listen well. I don't want to put my effort into something that will only kill me." She blurt out in a shaky voice as she back up. 

"And I already told you...don't make me regret it because you never know what will happen if I end up regretting it." I shot, annoyed that she is still denying it. I grab her arm and unknowingly guide her to her house. 

Once we reach the house, I held my hands out for her to hand me the house key which she did but before that, she had to give me one of her sassy eye rolls. I unlock the door with ease and haul her inside, impatiently dragging Jae Hwa up to her bedroom.

I know I shouldn't be doing this right now, but it feels so right to take advantage of her weak point. Instead of feeling guilty, I was so fire up at how crazy she drives me with those lips taunting me and...ugh!! Why does she have to fire me up this way??

I open the door to her dark room and drag her inside her own room with my arms securely around her lower waist. Laying her down on the bed with me protectively on top of her, I close in on the little distance between our body. I don't know what mess I am about to get myself in right now but let's just hope that it turns out to be just fine. Or better than just fine. 

My lips naturally found her soft spot and without hesitating, I continuously attack her neck with kisses. While I was leaving kiss marks on her slender neck, she was leaving me breathless with the soft moans leaving her mouth. 

Her naughty hands were wandering a bit too close to the rim of my jeans that I couldn't help but press my body closer to hers. My body was burning up and if I don't do something about it, I might explode. Too late with holding back those naughty thoughts because now, they were flying through my head like crazy. Her soft caresses weren't helping with it either. 

"We should stop." She manage to moan out as she stops me from my attacking mode. "Jang Mi and the others might come home any time now...and I don't want them to get the wrong idea." 

"Well, they won't get the wrong idea because whatever they are thinking is exactly what we are doing right now." 

"I mean it-" I interrupt her with a kiss, pressing my body against hers, deepening the kiss. 

I didn't care to stop even when she bite my lips or pretty much punch my chest to the point that it could become bruised.

The front door open and quietly and secretly, footsteps shuffle their way upstairs, towards Jae Hwa's room. 

Did that stop me? Nope but this is just my way of teasing her. 

The footsteps disappear and at the same moment, Jae Hwa use her manly strength and push us over until we fell of her bed. Landing on the floor with a loud thud. Her hair fell down onto my face, tickling me with every movement she made with her head. 

Right when the door swung open, I roll over her until we were both under the bed. She somehow ended up being on top of me but vice versa or not, I would have actually really enjoy this.  

"Hmmm...where is Jae Hwa?" An unfamiliar girl's voice said. 

"She probably went out with Hoseok." Janng Mi chirped in before the door fully close, leaving both of us alone again. 

We lay there, staring deeply into one another eyes, listening and feeling each other's heartbeat. This girl manage to do everything I hate in a girl but yet she still sends butterflies flying in my stomach.  

"Just so you know, this is a little preview of what will go down if you make me regret my decision." 

Author's Note: 

I feel like I am going to rush the ending but this story was just really simple and sweet and it didn't really have a big conflict. So it is going to come to an end. Don't worry though...I will try to make it the best last chapter ever!!!
