Jared's POV

I could feel her eyes on my back, watching my moves as I stirred the eggs in a bowl. Pouring them into the pan they slowly started cooking. Turning the sasuage because they started sizzling.

Her eyes were burning into my back in a delightful way. Heating up my body quickly. I couldn't take it anymore I had to stare back at her beatiful emerald green eyes. Turning around to meet her gaze she quickly lowered her eyes, not what I wanted.

Her posture was straight but obviously stiff. She was scared. I don't blame her but I wish she could feel alittle safer here. She should know by now no one will hurt her. But what if she thought I meant to burn her in the tub the other day. I know she heard me say I didn't know but did she believe me? How much trust does she have for people?

I guess it would really depend on how long she was down in that cell. I hope it wasn't long but from her completely closed off nature I can tell my hopes aren't true. God I really hope she didn't think I meant to hurt her the other night. I wouldn't dare...

Snapping myself out of my negative thoughts quickly I noticed she was still in the same position. Not a hair out of place. It was even hard to tell if she was breathing she was so still.  "Relax little wolf no one will hurt you here."

I hope she believed me. I hope she trusted my word. After a minute her shoulders slowly started dropping. Maybe she does trust me. Even feels save around me. Smiling to myself that I could make her feel better, no matter how little it was. I turned back to cooking her food. I didn't want to burn it. She'd probably think I couldn't cook and never trust me to again.

My little wolf, so fragile. She never reacts when I call her that. Maybe I should try different nicknames. Hopefully one she would like. My lips quirked up alittle at the sides as I started making a list in my head of nicknames I could try.

Babycakes, it fits her, so small and sweet. Angel, beatiful and perfect. Princess, ever girl has wanted to be a princess right. Baby doll, Jack (one of my fighters) calls his mate that and she seems to like it. Sweet heart, lots of guys call girls that right? But it seems over used. I'll use that one last, who knows maybe she'll like it.

Finishing up the food quickly I seperated the food on two plates for us. Holding a plate in each hand I walked over to her and being catious as to not scare her I set it infront of her. "There you go, I hope you like it. I'm not the best cook but I manage."  I made sure I kept my space from her and sat in a stool alittle ways to her right.

Giving her some privacy to eat I focused on my food. Taking a few bites I was glad it tasted alright. Not amazing but it's good. After finishing half my plate I decided to sneak a glance at her to see how she likes it.

Looking at of the corner of my eye to be inconspicuous I was shocked to see she hasnt moved. She looked relaxed her whole posture was soft. But...Her eyes they seemed...different? They were slightly glossed over and she was just staring at her wrist that she was holding with her other hand.

Giving her my entire attention I turned in my seat to face her. "Scarlet? Is something wrong? Do you want something else?" She didnt even move. I figured she would of atleast blinked when I turned towards her, but nothing.
