PART 16 P.O.V

What is he talking a about?!
I grab Rose's dummy and run upstairs with her.
It's been 3 weeks since the birth and everything has seemed to be perfect. What's happening?
I hide in the wardrobe and hug Rose into me.
Luckily she's fast asleep.
Is this one of Luke's stupid games?
The door clicks. It must be Luke.
Still, I don't dare to move a muscle.
I hear footsteps coming up the stairs, loud, heavy ones, nothing like Luke's.
The footsteps continue to get closer to the wardrobe and my heart thumps in my chest.
I cuddle Rose tighter and tighter and kiss her head.
I hear the wardrobe door creak and then open.
The light blinds me and a familiar figure stands in front of me.
"Get out" Calum demands.
I shake and obey him.
He clicks something behind my back and prods me.
"Move. Now."
I obey him once again, fearing what it is.
He leads me to the kitchen and turns to face me.
The front door bursts open and Luke runs in.
"TAKE A FUCKING STEP CLOSER AND ELIZA'S BRAINS WILL BE OVER THE KID." Calum barks.
His hand shaking as he points the gun at my head.
My eyes tighten and my lips purse.
"Luke... Do what he says" I cry and whisper.
Luke stands still.
"Cal... Put the gun down. I'm begging you." Luke stutters.
Calum laughs and shakes his head.
"It's not that easy though, is it Luke?" He snarls.
Tears escape my eyes rapidly and Luke's eyes meet mine.
"See, this little... CREATURE, might be mine." He snarls and points the gun and Rose's head.
I move her away and throw her over to Luke, hoping he will catch her.
Before I know it, the gun is fired and all I see is black.
I can hear Luke screaming and shouting at Calum before another gun shot. I hear a babies cry before a slamming of the front door.
"Eliza... Baby. I'm coming. Stay calm. Stay calm." Luke calls.

LUKES P.O.V *A week later*
Finally Eliza is stable. Calum shot her in the chest, if he was one more centimetre to the left, he would've hit her in the heart and killed her.
He's taken Rose and the police are searching for them finally. It isn't enough.
It's all my fault. All my fucking fault.
I throw my hands into my head and scratch my face angrily.
My wife nearly got KILLED and my daughter has been kidnapped by a psychopath who used to be my friend.
Calum shot me in the leg, stopping me from grabbing Rose.
I tried chasing him but my leg gave in. I had to help Elizabeth.
"Mr Hemmings?" A doctor says, emerging from Eliza's room.
I jump to my feet and glare at him.
"What is it?! Is she ok?!" I beg.
The doctor slightly smiles.
"She was incredibly lucky. She can have visitors for now." The doctor says.
I grin and run into the room to see Eliza sitting up in bed.
"BABE!!" I cry and run to her.
I wrap my arms around her neck and kiss her face rapidly.
"Where's Rose?" She croaks.
Tears fill my eyes and I shrug.
"I'm not sure. I'm going to find her and kill Calum." I say angrily.
"I need to find my baby!!" She cries.
I cuddle her and kiss her forehead.
"I'm going to do whatever it takes to find her. I promise." I cry.

I stay with Eliza for weeks until she's eventually discharged.

Eliza's P.O.V

I'm going to find my baby girl. I need to find her. I swear if Calum has done ANYTHING.
"Luke, we're leaving." I shout and unlock the front door.
I know Calum is staying in a rundown flat in the Emerdine Flat block.
We drive to the horrible dank place and get out the car.
"Luke I'm scared..." I mutter.
Luke takes my hand and we walk up the the flat Calum is staying in.
"I'll go in first... Wait outside" I hiss as I knock on the door.
"You sure?" He asks.
I nod and he runs to the end of the corridor.
Eventually the door opens and a baby shrieks.
"Calum?" I ask and walk in.
Rose is in an old crib and crying.
The smell of marihuana hits me and I gag slightly.
"Calum?" I repeat.
"Eliza?" I hear him call.
I follow the sound of his voice into the bathroom.
There he sits in the bathtub with a joint in his hand.
He stubs it out and goes to run out the room.
I block his exit.
He pushes me out the way and grabs Rose.
He rushes out onto the sky high balcony and begins to shake.
"Calum... Please give her to me." I cry.
Rose screams and cries and I want to reach out and grab her but I can't.
Calum dangles her over the edge and tears fall from his eyes.
"SHE'S MY BABY" he cries.
"Calum, we can be a family if you give her to me. I'll love you" I lie.
I just want my baby to be safe...
Tears fall from my eyes and I see Calum's arms shaking.
His whole body shakes before he gives Rose to me.
He slumps against the balcony wall and puts his head in his hands.
I begin to run out the flat until he grabs me.
"I thought you said you'd love me?!" He cries.
I burst into tears and turn away from Calum's crying face.
"I can't love someone who doesn't love me." I cry.
I leave the flat and run out to Luke.
"What's happened?!" Luke asks and grabs Rose.
He smothers her in kisses before giving me my fair share.
"Calum nearly killed her..." I cry.
He pulls me into a hug and I eventually stop shaking.
"The police are coming." Luke notifies me.
I shake my head.
"Luke, he's ill. He's really sick in the mind. He can't go to jail, he needs psychiatric help." I slowly say.
The sirens blare and I burst into tears.
I go back into the flat to see Calum balancing on the balcony wall. The wind blows through my hair and my eyes fill with tears.
"C-Calum stop" I cry.
"LEAVE ME." He cries.
I shake my head.
"I can't... Calum please I'm begging you. Come down and you won't be arrested. I'll take care of you. Please." I cry uncontrollably.
