if people spoke like fanfictions, we'd probably have an interesting vocabulary...

since in these stories its normal to say things like 'piercing blue orbs' and 'it felt like fireworks were going off inside of me' our everyday explanations would be a little more dramatic.

so here it is, how i imagine it would go if you used fanfiction vocabulary irl:

orbs -

"she looked into my piercing blue orbs, and the reflection in here eyes told me how she was feeling."

"...the optician?"

"it was more than just that in that moment. i knew when i saw the burning sadness in her eyes."

"wait, so, you do need glasses?"

love -

"so did he text back?"

"my love for him hurts. it hurts as it runs through me, through my veins and through my head. he makes my heart burn and ache and i can't get away from him."

"so...he did text back?"

texting -

"i need you. i want to be with you always. i want to feel the roughness of your skin against mine and feel the electricity surge through my veins when we touch. i want you to be proud to be with me and love me forever. i want you. i /need/ you."

"um luv u 2?"
