You've lost all your hope
There's no going back
What happened to the love
That the other's lacked?
You're lost in a world
With no other way out
Crying every night
No one hears you shout
Never going away
This pain that you feel
After all it's in your heart
Burned and forever sealed
Your soul gets crushed
A little more each day
"Don't worry, I'm fine"
Is what you always say
But do they ever realize
With every word they speak
And everything they do
The more hope is leaked?
Away from your body
Your soul from its shell
Free of pain now at last
At the ringing of a bell.
