Waking up to the bright sunlight peering through her blinds, Kim Nari had a smile spread on her pink lips as she sat up in the bed, taking a rather gleeful breath in.

She was happy.

It was finally the last two weeks before Spring break, so she couldn't wait for the time off she'd get — even though it'd only be full with studying and doing his homework.

Things with Lee Heeseung seemed to be going well. He wasn't as mean as he once was to her, and ever since she last spoke to him (which was him forcing her to thank him for using his shoulder to sleep on two days ago) she couldn't help but want to speak to him more.

It was odd for Nari to feel this way about a boy like Heeseung, however she didn't mind. Despite his weird ways, he always ended up putting a smile on her face.

And so, after the girl had gotten ready for the day ahead of her and arrived at school with her sister before parting ways, Nari had a kick in her step as she headed towards her locker, ready to see a sheet of Heeseung's homework shoved inside, along with a orange sticky note, ordering her to meet him on the rooftop at lunch.

However, to her dismay, there was nothing.

Nothing but a few textbooks neatly stacked on top of one another, and a few Polaroids of her, Wonhee and Minju stuck to the walls.

There was no homework.

No sticky note.

There was nothing.

Shutting her locker, Kim Nari couldn't help but feel her shoulders slump and brows furrow ever so slightly. She couldn't explain the emotions she was feeling... it almost felt like something was missing — which there was. She'd gotten so use to seeing his homework and messy handwriting every morning, that it'd become a routine by now.

And so, now that it wasn't there, all she could do for the first two lessons of the day was wonder.

Wonder what had happened...

Was Heeseung not in school today?

Had he not got any homework?

Did he forget?

However, Kim Nari's first question was answered as soon as her soft and confused eyes landed on him in the hallway.

He was surrounded by his friends, all of them laughing and teasing one another about something someone had said. He looked happy as he chuckled, making his eyes turn into crescent moons, his cheeks slightly tint red and his teeth poke through the gap in his lips as he smiled wildly.
