Dying Light

Omni slowly floated down from the castle, holding Raven's motionless body in her arms. Jessica stared at Omni, realizing what had just happened. She shook as she saw her wife dead in front of her and her daughter dead just a little further.

"You know it's funny. She told me something. She told me that you all wouldn't want her to give up. She told me that you all wouldn't give up."
Omni placed Raven's body on the ground and Jessica rushed over to her.
"WAKE UP. WAKE UP PLEASE. PLEASE..."
"I can wake her up. As I was saying, she said you all wouldn't give up. Are you rethinking that now?"

Jessica stared at her daughter and her wife before placing them next to one another and standing.
"If she wouldn't...I won't."
Omni smirked.
"Okay. Then you will die a fool's death."

Omni snapped her fingers and veins were popping out of Jessica's forehead. She felt her body growing weaker and weaker as she was infected by the Omnipoison and despite it all, she remained standing. It irked Omni that Jessica was still standing...because nobody should be able to.
"How in the wo-"
Jessica grabbed Omni by the throat.
"I'm still breathing."

Jessica cracked Omni with a headbutt before throwing a left hook that somehow sent Omni flying high into the air.
"Impossible."
Jessica leapt up and pulled her right arm back. Omni was pulled towards her as she felt the sheer power that was about to hit her.
"DIE!"

One right hook sent Omni flying directly through the capital castle, nearly bringing it to the ground through the sheer force. Omni gasped for air as she felt her face.
blood. nobody had made her bleed. not even raven. and it shook omni to her core.

Jessica took a breath and dived right towards Omni, becoming almost like a meteor as the fire began to surround her. Omni stood and stared at her as she grew closer and closer.
"I hate this family."

As the castle exploded as if a nuclear bomb hit it, Callidora Armani knelt down to the bodies of Raven and Tanya as Mercedes Rodriguez just bawled her eyes out over Raven's body while Ashton remained silent as he stared at Tanya's body.
"Fuck...FUCK."
She punched the ground as she began to cry.
"GODDAMN IT KID. YOU JUST HAD TO HOLD OUT. JUST A LITTLE LONGER. THAT'S ALL IT WOULD HAVE TAKEN."
She felt a hand grasp her wrist. She looked to her left and saw Tanya grasp on. Her heart may have been ripped out but her soul remained fighting.

With all of the strength she had left, Tanya Jiwe dragged her near lifeless body to her daughter and placed her arm over her body.
"hold...on....raven...."
As Tanya drew her true final breaths, she said one last thing.
"light...our....way....."
A pillar of light engulfed Tanya and Raven while Callidora took a breath and stared at it.
"I'm here for you Raven. Through to the end."
Callidora stepped into the light.

Raven opened her eyes and looked around at the void.
"Raven."
She turned around and stared at her mother. Her whole body shook as she just walked over and hugged her.
"Please be real...please be real..."
"I assure you that I am very real."
"It's true she is. So am I."
Tanya and Raven both looked over at Callidora.
"Calli?..."
"Callidora?"
"I said I would be here to the end. And if I can't destroy this reality, that bastard won't."
Raven and Tanya smiled before Tanya spoke once more.
"She's bonded with your soul. She'll remain...I won't."
"What?"

Raven stared at Tanya, shaking her head.
"No...no...no no no no no...."
"Unfortunately it's true. My natural body is already to perish and if I don't do this, you won't be strong enough to come back. Callidora actually helped a lot by being here..."
Raven just hugged her mother tight.
"Don't go...please don't go...."
"It's okay. I'll always be here in some way. I'm always watching you."
Tanya kissed Raven's forehead before letting go.

"Now. Light the way."
She snapped her fingers as Raven disappeared from The Inbetween.

"Hey Tanya."
Callidora walked over to Tanya and hugged her.
"Just know that you were the best damn mother she could have."
There was a air of hurt in Callidora's voice when she said that. Tanya smiled and hugged her back.
"Thank You. Now help her and my wife put on a show."
As Tanya faded away into nothing, Callidora nodded.
