She only wanted to know why the hospital wasn't informing anyone of Lee Jingyuan and his son's deaths!
No! She could not wait any longer.
Somi combed her fingers through her hair and changed into a set of casual wear. Soon, she visited the thirtieth floor of the Jia Ya Hospital.
Both the intensive care unit and Dong Lee's VIP ward were guarded by bodyguards from the Manoban family.
Aside from doctors and nurses, no one was allowed into the two hospital rooms.
Dong Lee's hospital door was shut and she had no way of checking the situation inside.
The intensive care unit was visible through the transparent window. It was a pity, however, that the curtains were closed and she could not see what was happening inside!
Somi turned to ask the bodyguards. "Is my grandfather alright?"
"I don't know." The bodyguard shook his head.
"Did Jennie come by?" She asked again.
"I don't know."
No matter what she asked, the bodyguards claimed they could not answer her questions.
Somi then visited the doctor's office and found that Doctor Guo Yi, the doctor she had hypnotised yesterday, did not come to work today.
She rushed to ask the doctor on shift about Lee Jingyuan's status. "Doctor, may I know how my grandfather, Lee Jingyuan, is doing right now?"
"Madam Manoban instructed that Director Lee's status cannot be revealed to anyone." The doctor responded expressionlessly.
"I am Lee Jingyuan's granddaughter."
"My apologies. Madam Manoban's commands are akin to the imperial edict. If you wish to know, go ahead and ask Madam Manoban."
Somi caused a small commotion but failed to learn anything.
She could not help but feel fearful.
She made a call to Doctor Guo Yi but found that his phone was turned off.
A sense of foreboding filled her heart. Could it be that her scheme was exposed?
For a moment, she felt the urge to escape.
However, she believed that Jennie was intentionally suppressing news of Lee Jingyuan's death. Perhaps she planned to take advantage of the shares she owned to control the Lee Group.
The more she thought about this, the more she felt that it was possible.
This meant that she needed to quickly announce to the public that Lee Jingyuan was dead! This way, she could immediately take over the Lee family's business!
Somi stood outside the intensive care unit and raised her voice. "I want to see my grandfather!"
"Miss Manoban, please do not make things difficult for us." A bodyguard stopped her.
"I have the right to see him!" Somi insisted.
"In that case, please request for permission from Madam." The bodyguard spoke professionally.
"How is my Lee family's business related to Jennie?" Somi was enraged. "You don't have the right to do this!"
At this moment, the bodyguards received a call. They immediately detained Somi...
In the Yu Ting Villa's living room, Lisa sat on the couch with an upright posture. The expensive couch appeared just like an emperor's throne with his presence.
