Lisa nodded lightly in agreement. However, he could not help but worry. Mother Kim Lilan's body had been buried in the Kim family's villa for nearly eight years. Would Jennie feel afraid returning there?
However, she will be marrying out of her family tomorrow. It was necessary for her to go from the Kim home to enter the Manoban home.
When Jinyuan heard these words, a hint of surprise flashed past his face. "Jennie, your father is hospitalised in the room next door?"

"That's right, Grandfather Lee." Jennie's expression was serious. "My father suffered a stroke five years ago and went into a coma. The chances of him waking up is very low."
Jingyuan held his walking stick to stand. "Let's go. I'll take this opportunity to visit your father."
Truly, the very thing you fear will always come! Somi's heart nearly slammed out of her chest. She spoke somewhat unhappily. "Grandfather, it's late at night. You must be tired. You should go home and rest early."
"It won't be too late to leave after visiting Father Kim."
"Alright then." Somi wanted to try harder to stop him. However, Lisa was an extremely intelligent man. It would be bad if he noticed something amiss.
Still, she absolutely could not allow Jingyuan to see Dong Lee!
Jennie wanted to refuse him. However, after considering that he had good intentions, she agreed. "Ok then, Grandfather Lee, please follow me."
Somi supported Jingyuan out of the hospital room as he asked Jennie. "What's your father's name?"
"My father's name is Dong Lee." Jennie comfortably replied.
"Oh?" Jingyuan's grey brows lifted. "Your father also has the surname of Lee? In that case, he shares the same ancestors as my Lee family. Why isn't his surname Kim?"
Jennie was not embarrassed to tell him. "Um... My father married into the Kim family. He became a son-in-law living in his wife's family, so I naturally took my mother's surname."
When Lee Jingyuan heard this, he became extremely angry. His sudden anger caused his old body to tremble.
Speaking of which, it had been twenty-seven years ago. Back then, his third son, Lee Xuan, had fought with his family over a woman and eloped with that woman!

Back then, he had been stubborn and felt that he could survive losing a useless son like Xuan.
However, he never expected that the Lee family's lineage would end up in such a pitiful state. Today, they could only rely on Lee Xuan's only child, Somi, to further the Lee family's bloodline.
"What's wrong, Grandfather Lee?" Jennie noticed that he was upset.
Jingyuan returned from his thoughts and sighed. "It's nothing. I merely recalled something unhappy from the past."
"It's all in the past. Please cheer up. I hope you won't be too upset about it anymore." Jennie comforted him.
"That's right. I'm no longer upset about it." In truth, Jingyuan had regretted this matter a long time ago.
If he had the opportunity to go back in time, no matter how upset he was, he would never have chased Lee Xuan out of his home.
So what if he was a useless son? At the end of the day, wasn't he still his son?
He once posted a declaration in the newspaper in an attempt to look for Xuan. He had hoped he would return to the Lee family after seeing it.
