Knock, knock, knock!

At this moment, someone knocked against the door firmly. Lisa spoke heavily. "Who is it?"

"Young Master, it's me." Mingde, the old butler, said, "Mr. Sehun sent someone with a gift. He said that he would visit personally later."

Lisa opened the room door to see Butler Mingde with a white, square box in his hands.

He received it and saw that Elder Manoban Chongshan was also outside the door. He appeared to be peeking into the room.

"Where's Jennie?" Chongshan's expression was filled with concern. He glared at Lisa. "Did you make things difficult for my granddaughter-in-law?" Earlier, Lisa had appeared as though he was about to murder someone. The sight had left his old little heart frightened.

"Grandfather, I'm alright." Jennie was moved. She spoke to him from where she sat by the bed.

"As long as you're fine." He addressed Lisa sternly. "Dote on your wife. We'll have to rely on her for the Manoban family's future children."

"There's no need for you to tell me that." Lisa shut the door expressionlessly and left them outside.

Jennie glanced at the box in his hands. "What gift did my brother send?"

Lisa opened to see that it contained a light blue bed sheet. He took it out and found a patch of dried blood stain on the centre.

"This..." Jennie was confused as she stared at it. "Did my brother take the wrong medicine? Why would he send something with dried blood on it?"

Lisa's expression turned heavy. He asked coldly. "Don't you know? Gao Ru, the part-time worker, claims that this bed sheet from Sehun's bed in the Hong Sheng district has your blood."

"My blood?" Jennie appeared even more confused. "Why would my blood be on my brother's bedsheet?" All of a sudden, she appeared to have recalled something.

She chuckled. "It must be that incident..."

Lisa's cold and harsh gaze watched her firmly. "What incident?"

Jennie did not answer him directly. Instead, she asked. "Why do you think my blood would be on my brother's bedsheet?"

He could not answer this.

A woman would only bleed if it was her first time. Jennie had already lost his innocence to him much before the day Gao Ru claimed that these sheets had been stained.

Even if something truly existed between Sehun and her... there wouldn't be any blood on the sheet. Of course, Jennie would never let him down in this way!

"There has to be a misunderstanding." Lisa was certain of this.

Jennie suddenly asked him. "Where's Bambam, your bodyguard?"

"Why are you looking for him? He is currently stationed at the Yu Ting Villa."

"Call him over."

Lisa frowned but dialed Bambam's phone. After a moment, he said, "Bambam will be here in twenty minutes."

"Good, my brother will be here at the same time." Jennie's expression was indifferent. "I'll clarify this matter to you at that time." She did not wish for his misunderstanding to worsen with her explanation.

Lisa took in her charming features. Her gaze was open and she did not appear guilty in the slightest. This seemed to put his feelings at ease.

"Wife, I'm sorry!" He brought her into his arms and said heavily.

"Why are you apologising?" She lifted her brows.

"I shouldn't have gotten jealous so quickly..." His gaze appeared slightly flustered. "In fact, I believe in you. If I truly thought you were guilty, I wouldn't have given you an opportunity to explain. I would have shot you to death there and then!"

"Fuck!" She glared at him sharply. "Can you bear to? If you lose a good wife like me, you'll never be able to find a good replacement."
