Love, empathy, kindness
seen as strengths given to those who are special
but is it really a strength?
Love
the 4 letter word given to those around us
but never given back
love allows people into the heart
to bruise, damage and burn it alive
Empathy
caring for others is a gift
but is that gift returned?
Do people care about how I'm feeling?
or do they just keeps me around as a journal?
Kindness
kind to everyone I saw
enemies, family, friends, peers
and what did they do?
speak bad about me and treat as if I was a door mat
These are my weaknesses
they weaken my brain, my heart, my lungs and my body
weakness
such a fragile thing
so easy to identify
yet so hard to bury
so hard to burn
so hard to get rid off
My weakness
love, empathy, kindness
why you may ask?
they allowed me to be shattered
never to be healed again
