A/N: Before we start, yes, I know that The Crystal Empire isn't in mlp EG, but I still wanted to include it. Teehee:3

Cadence was walking down the path with her daughter. They were walking home for dinner, but Candace saw something, so she stopped. She looked between the houses and she saw someone but..they seemed a bit..off? She ignored it and kept walking as they walked. They came across more people just like that. It was starting to her worry, so she picked Flurry heart up and started running. She normally hates running, but she knows that something is wrong and she is NOT about to risk her daughters safety. Candace got inside and slammed the door shut, "Hey Cadence, are you alright?" Shining Armor asked, "Uhm..Y-Yeah, I'm fine, I just felt.. a little sick..! A-And wanted to get home..!" Cadance said nervously as she quickly made an excuse, "Alright...If you need anything, just let me know!" Shining Armor said as he walked away. Cadance put Flurry heart in her bed and smiled, "I promise I'll keep you safe.."

few weeks later

Cadance had found out about what it was, and now she was the mother of the empire, keeping others safe and healthy as she killed off any infected people. She promised the Empire publicly that she would do everything to keep them safe.

Even if it kills her..

Cadance recruited an army to help protect the Empire, she's hoping that this all ends very soon. She cannot handle another moment of this hell and she doesn't want to either! But she will still protect her home if it's the last thing she does. She's doing it for Twilight, for  the Empire, for herself, for her husband, for her DAUGHTER!
