When my classes ended, I decided to look good for Cedric. I did the Cassie Euphoria routine, if you know what I mean. Hours pass by and it was time to go to his practice I rush to there instantly. I didn't want to miss anything.
I get up to the quidditch benches and sit down, I watched Cedric from afar. This was actually boring than I expected, I cheered him on during his practice and acted like I was enjoying this the whole time.
As he was flying around like a show off on his broom, he flys over to me.
"Hey Y/n! You look gorgeous, wanna hop on?"
Asks me, he keeps a charming smile on his face.
"Oh- uh n-" I stutter.
"Cmon, gyou can trust me." Cedric reassures me.
"Okay, okay..." I was nervous, my hand was shaking. I was absolutely afraid of heights, but Cedric was confident and reassuring, he could keep his balance on his broom.
He reaches his hand out for me and I take it. I hop on the broom with him, ow...brooms are really not comfortable to ride on.
He takes off with me with unimaginable speed, I almost fall off the broom, I had no choice but to wrap my arms around him from behind him.
I look down from above, my eyes widen. We were so up high I was so scared. Suddenly I felt a rush of adrenaline fill my body, it excited me and made my heart rate go up. I hug Cedric tighter, I couldn't help but laugh a little.
People from above us watched, pointing and talking.
I wonder what they were saying?
Cedric lowers the broom to the ground, we both hop off.
"Whoa...that was fun, thank you." I couldn't help but smile at him.
"Anything for a pretty girl like you." Cedric smiles at me, gently taking my hand and placing a kiss on it.
I blush and chuckle nervously.
"Awww! He's such a gentleman." I hear Pansy's voice behind me and Cedric.
Well this was embarrassing, I think to myself.
"Damn right I am." He mumbles under his breath.
"Thanks again Cedric." I hug him tightly subconsciously. I couldn't help it.
He gives me a quick hug and we part ways.
I catch up with Pansy, "You ruined our moment." I nudge at her, she laughs.
"So what about you Draco?" Pansy questions me.
"We're just friends." I look away, I was red with embarrassment.
"Uh huh..." she gets suspicious of me.
"Like I said Y/n, you really need to find a man."
This makes me roll my eyes, walking with Pansy back to the castle.
"Draco and are just friends, like I said." I remind Pansy.
"Oh cmon...don't lie! You and him randomly got close one day and it was confusing? Did you like manifest him?!" Pansy asks.
"No?! That's stupid..." I get defensive, I did manifest him since I shifted realities. But don't point out the obvious Pans.
"Oh okay Y/l/n." Pansy gives me a weird look, it makes me want to grab her throat and punch it.
