No. This isn't right.

He stopped. Despite knowing that they are meant for each other, Dhruv didn't want to kiss her without her consent. He wanted her to reciprocate her feelings first. Without it, it might just make her uncomfortable.

Dhruv moved his hand from her neck to her wet hair and pushed it back. He looked away and said "You should dry your hair. You'll catch a cold."

Akanksha, who was closing her eyes very tightly thinking that Dhruv was about to do it, opened her eyes slowly. Dhruv smiled at her reaction and moved away.

"But there's no point in drying our hair now. It's raining heavily. We don't even have an umbrella." Akanksha replied.

"Oh yeah, right." Dhruv replied.

"By the way, are you okay? You were crying earlier. Do you have injuries anywhere else?" Akanksha asked concerned.

"No. It was just tears of joy." Dhruv replied.

"Huh?" Akanksha asked looking at him for an explanation.

"Thank you Akanksha. I owe you my life this time." Dhruv said.

"Ah.. Its fine. I'm glad that you're okay." Akanksha said with a smile.

"But, why'd you run into the fire like that? What if something had happened to you? Do you think that I would be able to live with the regret of you getting hurt because of me?" Dhruv asked with a serious face. He was upset about the fact that she ran in carelessly.

Akanksha was taken aback. She didn't know what to say. When the piece of wood fell, Akanksha didn't know what got into her. She was in holding Dhruv by the time she realized that she had ran through the fire.

"Even I don't know why I ran in like that Dhruv. Before I realized what was going on, I was already inside with you." She revealed.

Dhruv smiled.

"But don't do this hereafter. Imagine Niranjan's situation if he had lost you. Think about him before you jump in like that ever again." He replied.

"And you're hurt as well." Dhruv said looking at her elbow.

"Ah its fine." Akanksha replied.

"No it's not." Dhruv said as he dragged her hand and cleaned the wound and bandaged it while Akanksha was spending her time looking at him.

"We should leave to meet the other members Akanksha. Your brother will be worried about you." Dhruv said.

Akanksha realized that it's been a while since everyone went. Probably Niranjan went along with them too.

Akanksha nodded in agreement with Dhruv and the two ran back in the rain to the shelter area.

Everyone rushed to Dhruv and Akanksha except Neelam. Niranjan ran to Akanksha and hugged her.

"Thank the God's you're back safe and sound. Are you okay? " Niranjan asked with concern moving away from her.

"I'm fine anna." She replied.

"Why'd you run into the fire like that? What if you got hurt?" He asked. He too was upset about her carelessness.

"Well nothing happened to me! I'm a strong woman!" Akanksha replied cheerfully.

Ananya ran to Akanksha and hugged her.

"What the hell do you think you were doing!" Ananya shouted.

"An- I can't brea--the" Akanksha struggled as Ananya hugged her tight.

"Don't kill her. She just came back alive." Aayush said jokingly.

Ananya moved away from Akanksha and hit Aayush on his arm.

"He's the one who got hurt. Why is everyone checking on me and hugging me?" Akanksha asked pointing at Dhruv as he stood there silently.

"Wahh.. I can see the amount of concern you have for me guys. I never expected that from you Aayush. Seems like you care about Akanksha more than me." Dhruv replied with fake anger.

"She's better than you. And is that something you say to your savior?" Aayush said.

"Seriously? Now you're on her side?" Dhruv asked with irritation to Aayush.

"Of course I am. She saved my bestfriend. So isn't she my bestfriend too?" Aayush asked as he nudged Akanksha with his elbow on her arm.

"He's right." Akanksha replied with a smile.

"So? Dhruv got saved by my bestfriend. I'm on Dhruv's side." Ananya replied and stood next to Dhruv. Dhruv smiled and gave a high five to Ananya.

All the four started to laugh at the silly fight.

Niranjan came upto Dhruv and asked "Are you okay?"

Niranjan was equally concerned about Dhruv. He almost died that day.

"I'm well and alive, thanks to Akanksha. She saved my life." Dhruv replied politely with a smile.

He looked at Akanksha and said "I really owe you my life Akanksha. Thank you."

"It's fine." Akanksha replied humbly.

"Both of you will catch a cold if you keep wearing these clothes. You guys freshen up. Wear some dry clothes and don't forget to dry your hair." Director Neelam said.

The two agreed and went into their rooms to get dressed and dried their hair.

When everyone moved around minding their own work, Dhruv turned to Director Neelam. As usual, the Director was smiling.

"Thank you sir." Dhruv said with a smile, hoping that he would understand his context.

Akanksha tried to eavesdrop from a distance.

"It's not me Dhruv. It's your belief that made the time come. I'm simply a messenger here." He replied with a smile.

Messenger? What kind of messenger? And what belief are these two talking about?

A confused Akanksha kept listening but they didn't speak further. Dhruv smiled and kept a namaste in front of Neelam. The elderly man returned his namaste and the two parted ways.

Niranjan had begun to doubt Dhruv and Akanksha's relationship. He wondered if they liked each other. He decided to keep an eye on Dhruv.

That night, when a happy Dhruv went to sleep back at home, his actual dream began.
