Immediately concerned, Bitna dialed Haeri's number, her mind racing with worry.

"Hey,what's going on?" she asked as soon as her friend picked up.

Haeri's voice sounded weak and strained on the other end of the line. "I'm really sorry, but I woke up feeling terrible today. Jiwoo also threw up..." she explained, her words punctuated by a soft cough. "Sorry"

Bitna's heart went out to her friend, and she quickly reassured her that her health was the most important thing. "Don't worry about work today" she said soothingly. "Just focus on resting and getting better. I'll handle everything here."

As Bitna sat alone at a close café, enjoying a quiet moment to herself, she was surprised to see Solbin, the actress that was fake dating Hoshi.

"Hey, you're Bitna right?What a coincidence running into you here," Solbin exclaimed, sliding into the seat opposite her "mind if I seat?"

Bitna returned the smile, though she couldn't shake the feeling that Solbin had something up her sleeve, her smile seemed faked.

"Yeah.... Sure" she replied, trying to keep her tone casual.

Solbin leaned in closer, a mischievous twinkle in her eyes. "So, are you Hoshi friend?"she asked, her voice laced with curiosity.

Bitna raised an eyebrow, sensing that Solbin was fishing for information. "We're from the same group of friends" she replied cautiously.

"Do you know what he likes?"

"What do you mean?" Bitna answered her

"Oh, come on, you can't fool me," she teased, nudging Bitna playfully. "I heard there's been some drama with you and Hoshi. You must know what he likes."

"Where did you heard that?"

"I didn't. I assumed and your reaction told me what I needed to know."

Bitna forced a laugh, trying to play it cool. "Sorry to disappoint, Solbin, but there's no drama between me and Hoshi," she replied, hoping to shut down the conversation before it went any further.

But Solbin wasn't about to let it go. "Are you sure about that?" she pressed, her tone sly. "Because me and him are dating and I don't want competition"

Bitna's eyes widened in surprise, her mind racing to make sense of Solbin's words. "I have no idea what you're talking about," she insisted, her voice tinged with frustration. "Hoshi and I are just friends."

Solbin chuckled, though there was a hint of skepticism in her tone. "I hope so, because last night me and Hoshi had a breakthrough, and I don't wanna ruin that. His lips are really soft" she said smiling

"And I don't care" Bitna said looking at her food but she lost her hunger

"Good we don't want any misunderstandings to arise, now would we?"With that cryptic warning, Solbin bid Bitna farewell and left the café.

Despite her attempts to brush it off, a nagging feeling of unease lingered in the back of her mind, and she couldn't shake the feeling that Solbin's words had struck a nerve.

As Bitna sat alone in her apartment, her mind consumed by thoughts of Hoshi there was a sudden knock at the door.

Startled, she hurried to answer it, her heart pounding in her chest.To her surprise, it was Hoshi standing on her doorstep, a look of concern etched on his face

"Explain me the text "he said urgently, his voice tense

"Go away."

"Break my nose if you want but what happened?"

Bitna's heart sank at the sight of him, her mind racing with a whirlwind of conflicting emotions.

She pushed his chest "You're a idiot"

"For liking you?"

"Don't lie"she said with tears covering her cheeks "you have a girlfriend"

"Where was this Bitna when I needed it? You can't come back and expect me to forgive you like that"

"Go away Hoshi please"

"Tell me why you sent that message from nowhere"Hoshi faltered, his expression pained as he struggled to find the right words. "I... I'm so angry at you but at the same time I'm worried. Why did you send that?"

"Where were you last night?"

"Me? Why do you want to know that?"

"Why can't you answer?"

"You're making no sense! I don't get it. Fuck I don't even know why I'm here"

"Please" she said, her voice cracking with emotion. "I need you to leave."

With that, she turned away, unable to bear the sight of him any longer. As she closed the door , she collapsed onto the floor, the weight of her emotions crashing down on her all at once.

Tears streamed down her cheeks as she allowed herself to finally let go.

And as she cried, she couldn't help but wonder if things would ever be the same between her and Hoshi again.
