The atmosphere was cozy and bustling as we arrived at the entrance of the amusement park. The night sky was clear with a faint hint of starlight, reflecting in Amber's iris as I looked at her. A gentle breeze fluttered across our faces marking the beginning of a great night.

"Oh my gosh! This looks fantastic. I am so excited!" she said with a beaming smile, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Her arms intertwined with mine, we walked inside the park together. We could feel the vibes and the thrill was infectious.

"So what should we try first?"

"I don't know, there are so many games!" she replied, her eyes scanning the park.
"Okayy let's start with that then" she said, pointing at the haunted walkthrough.

"Wouldn't you get scared if ghosts appear and attack you?" I asked teasingly

"Nah I can take care of myself and if they attack, I got some long nails." She said with a grin on her face

Ooh, they're indeed long and sharp, I'm now worried about the ghosts.

"You should be worried about yourself too. You know if you ever make me feel sad remember what these nails can do."

"Don't worry tulip, the only time you will scratch me with these nails is when you're under me."

"Don't get ahead of yourself" she said with a smirk

Even though her face was red and she could barely look straight into my eyes, she was slowly scratching my arm and I wasn't moving my arm either, as it gave me chills. Her nails were sliding across my skin and I was enjoying it.

"Are your nails marking me as yours?"

"Shut up dumbass! Go on, get in the tunnel," she commanded me, her sharp nails lingering on my skin for an extra second.

"After you, tulip."

We were walking inside. The tunnel was dark. Its walls had lamps of dim purple light to make the environment scary. The path was full of fake bones and blood which added the thrill.

Amber was holding my hand for the entire path. She was being careful but by the look on her face I could tell she was scared a little bit.

All of a sudden, a peculiar sound came and the next moment all I could see was a bunch of bats, flying all over the ceiling. I knew it was some kind of toy to scare people but at the same time it looked too good to be real in the dark.
An unusual sound came again from the backend of the tunnel, and strange looking guys in zombie costumes started coming towards us.
Amber's breath hitched as she gripped me tighter, her nails digging deeper into my skin with a mixture of nerves and excitement.

However before I could process it all, Amber tightly gripped my hand and pulled it to drag us out of there.
"Kevin! Run!" She shouted at the top of her lungs.
I knew the moment was scaring her but I could also feel a small smirk creeping on her face.

The zombies were still trailing us, getting closer by the second and we found ourselves 3 paths before us. We had to choose quickly which path to take before the zombies caught up to us.

"Which path should we go to?
Hurry hurry!" She said excitedly

"Let's take the middle one" I grabbed her hand this time and led her.
But out of the blue we fell into a slide which was actually a trap. We slid down so quickly, I could barely keep up.
As we landed on a soft spot, I cuddled her close so she won't fall when we land. She was terrified but I managed to put her mind at ease.
We could see an exit door right before us, saving us from the zombies.
We got out of the tunnel, and into the fresh night air.
"That was wild", she said, still laughing out of relief.
