My Apartment complex was in flames. I ran to it seeing people laying on the ground... Dead. I stood there in shock just staring at the corpses. But something was wrong. There were no burns or cuts, or stabs. They just died. I start looking for my mom and brother. My eyes starting burning and a knot in my throat formed. They were just laying on the ground their bodies already rotting, I wondered how that was possible, but had no time to think. I tried calling 911 but the phone line was off. So I ran into town seeing the same thing. Mile after mile of rotting corpses. I see dogs and cats running up and down the streets so the air doesn't effect animals. Good to know.
I suddenly realized, I'm not dead. I'm.... Not.... Dead... IM NOT FREAKING DEAD!!! Oh my gawd. I was immune to the air. I ran into shops gathering food, water, and weapons. Just in case I wasn't the only immune person. I grabbed my Pierce The Veil hoodie and walked to OakDale Forest.
I had found my old tree house that me and my best friend had made years ago. I wonder if Marti's okay. I hope she has the same idea as me and comes here. The tree house was in pretty good shape. I layed my stuff down and made camp. I ran back to my house and got 2 sleeping bags, a bunch of huge water bottles, extra snacks, and all of my posters. I made myself a home.
