Chapter 12

"Besides, what's with these exaggerated facilities? A plastic pool is good enough for playing in water." Haruhi told the group trying to give a reasonable reason why she wasn't going to swim. "What's a plastic pool?" The twins asked simultaneously. Haruhi tried to gesture the best she could to explain an inflatable pool, before the boys looked more lost than before. "Umm... It's about this big... You see, you inflate it with air." The girl tried to explain further. "You dumb girl." Hikaru called the girl out on her naivety. "You call that an airboat." Kaoru added on before his brother spoke up. "There's no way something that small can be a pool." Hikaru argued with the girl before his brother agreed. The female was agitated. "It is a pool! Little kids have fun with water in it a lot." The girl said before Tamaki grabbed Hikaru and Kaoru trying to pull them a little bit away but the volume of their voices carried where the new distance was pointless. "Idiots! If Haruhi thinks it's a pool, then let it be a pool!"

"Tamaki was right about the idiots part." I mumbled before hearing an unexpected response. "She's talking about a little kiddie pool, correct?" Kyoya questioned, awaiting an answer. "Yes, but the real mystery is if she can actually swim like she claims she can." I told the boy while our attention was shifted onto the twins and Tamaki again. "Don't make Haruhi feel insulted! It's like the commoner's touching knowledge!" Tamaki scolded the boys. "Excuse me." I said, waiting for clarity about the offensive terms at play. "How should I put this... I feel very offended..." Haruhi added on before we both received meaningless apologies.

By the way, I was wondering...why did you have her wear that parka, boss?" Kaoru questioned the girl's forcible clothing option before all attention was on the said blonde. "Usually, if you think about it...Tamaki would want to see Haruhi in a swimsuit." Hikaru pointed out the host club king's thoughts before his twin came to the realization of what could possibly actually be going on. "Don't tell me he's thinking that he doesn't want any other guys seeing Haruhi show skin?" Kaoru questioned before his twins responded. "Yeah I bet, he's actually one of those quiet but perverted people." Hikaru said, pointing out the weirdness of his actions towards the girl. Tamaki was offended as he fumbled over his words. "Ngh... F-Fools! I'm just doing the obvious thing as her father and guardian! Besides, even if it's a swimsuit, girls should not show their skin so defenselessly in front of guys!" Tamaki yelled out, hopefully covering his actions.

"Hey, everyone, look!" Honey yelled out gaining everyone's attention.

As we all looked onto the scene, Mori began swimming very hard against the river current while Honey rode on his back. To try and showcase what seemed to be an accomplishment to him. "See, see! We're not advancing from our position at all even though we're swimming so hard!" The boy yelled out again. Within a few minutes everyone went back to their activities they were doing before except for the twins. The twins pulled out water guns and began a war. Bull's eye!" Hikaru yelled out as he blasted Tamaki directly into his face with the water gun's ammo. "Let's have a water gun battle, boss!"Kaoru proposed to the blonde before his brother decided to try. "It's me and Kaoru versus you, boss! You lose if you get hit in the face, and there's a penalty game." Hikaru told the boy trying to convince him to participate since everyone else wouldn't be up for it. "Hmph. Who would want to participate in such a childish game?" Tamaki said before he began to furiously pump the water gun. "There's no way I'm going to let my cute Haruhi become your bride... Daddy won't allow it!" Tamaki yelled, which caused everyone to question the boy's sanity.

Tamaki, Hikaru, and Kaoru began to have their water gun fight just as Haruhi decided to take a seat on the side under an umbrella while having a drink. Mori slowly approached our little group as Haruhi's attention was on the missing boy who was swimming by himself. "Honey's swimming by himself? Taking a break? Would you like to drink this?" Haruhi asked while handing out coconut juice to the boy. I rose from my seat taking off the shirt Kyoya gave me. But before I could go forward something grabbed my hand or rather someone. "Where are you going?" Kyoya asked. "In the wave pool, I don't like Honey being out there all by himself when he's not the best swimmer." I told the boy before receiving a simple nod and continuing on my way. The war between the twins and Tamaki continued on edging closer to the wave pool. "Eat this! Critical shot... horizontal jump beam!" Tamaki yelled out, shooting vigorously at the twins. The twins took shelter and hid behind a tiki mask totem pole. "That's cheating! Cheating!" The blonde yelled out at the unfairness of their hiding spot. Before he could continue his rampage, the boy met his doom with a banana peel. Tamaki steps on a banana peel which causes the boy to begin sliding across the siding of the pool before making contact. And of course out of all the things the host club king could have run into, he ran into the totem pole. Which just so happens to contain the controls to the theme park.

A large wave appeared over Honey and I and before any actions could be taken, the wave crashed over us. Small distanced yells could be heard as the rushing waters rushed, sweeping anyone within its way down stream. Unlike Honey I only seemed to land a few meters away from the starting point. With that being said the safe option would be to try and travel back the way I came so I traced what would have been my footsteps if I would have walked. Minutes go by as the theme park seems to get gloomier. As I journeyed further, hisses and bellows were heard from a small area. Of course I had to see what all the noise was due to my curious mind, even though I wish I wouldn't have. Crocodiles appeared in the surrounding waters making me slowly back away from the predators. "Oh no she's ugly." I voiced to no one in particular. "Lena!! it's a crocodile" Hikaru called out stating the obvious. The bellowing continued from the animal as they showed their claim of territory. "Mommy save her!!" Tamaki shouted out of being anxious for my well being. "Lena, back away from the crocodile. I would rather not explain to your parents how you got eaten by one."Kyoya said while taking a few steps towards me trying to pull me back carefully towards the group. "Yeah, because that would be a lot of paperwork wouldn't it?" I asked the male sarcastically as I finally made it to a safe distance away from the predators. "You're not hurt are you?" Kyoya asked while giving me his shirt from before again. "No, I'm okay. But I'm not sure where Honey is." I told the male. "Why are there crocodiles?" Haruhi asked, breaking up the little conversation that started. "That pool over there is one for tropical animals, but I guess breeding crocodiles was dangerous after all." Kyoya informed us of the appearance of the crocodiles. I scoffed at the stupidity. "Dangerous?? Really Kyoya??" I questioned the boy, annoyed at the fact we were guinea pigs for his company's theme park. "Well, it seems like the wave pool's switch location is more of a problem. I must tell this to the design team. I give you my thanks. I was able to get some good data." he concluded gently placing his arm around me to comfort before I shrugged it off.

We soon arrived upon a map. As the Host Club members looked at the area map, a conversation was at the brink. "Are you mad at me?" Kyoya whispered, trying to be discreet. "I don't know Ootori would you be mad if your friend used you as a financial experiment that discarded any notation of well being or any blunderful mishaps?" I asked before he gave a look. This was the look of disappointment, most people wouldn't be able to distinguish it from his normal professional look but there is a difference. "Sorry. I guess I need to work on being more considerate of others." Kyoya said before being called to look at the map. The map displayed was an interpretation of the Tropical Aqua Garden, giving us a good idea of where we were. "This is our current location?" I questioned while pointing to the map. "Yes and to get to where we estimate to be Honey-senpai's location, we need to go through the jungle area in the south block." Kyoya informed the group before continuing on. "Distance-wise, it's about 800 meters." he said before a new concern was held accountable. "It seems like this jungle area is filled with unknown places throughout." Haruhi said while looking at the map. "There are zones still under construction." The raven haired boy added. The anxiousness was at a rise as the twins began to comment on the situation also. "It seems like there would be more dangerous things..." Hikaru started before his brother continued "... than crocodiles there, huh?" Kaoru said. "Okay, this is a survival battle plan. We shall penetrate through the jungle area and rescue Honey-senpai no matter what!" Tamaki said, trying to encourage the whole group to continue on. This was just the beginning of our adventure at the Ootori Medical Tropical Aqua Garden.
