A Drop of Jealousy
Indistinct chattering filled the glorious host club as the club flourished from the ongoing customers. As the host began their tasks of keeping their guest satisfied, anyone with common sense would gag at the affection within the air especially with Tamaki's table. One of the customers were rather desperately interested in getting to know more about the said king. "Um, Tamaki, what's your favorite song?" The girl asked nervously, Tamaki spared no more than a second to answer. "What song? The one that reminds me of you, of course." He started while leaning closer to the female, making her blush even more. The scene continued with various comments about him being dreamy and asking him to taste baked goods. Tamaki continued to please his customers before a regular customer spoke. "May I have a word with you Tamaki?"
Seika Ayanokoji
Seika means holy and Ayanokoji means design but if you ask me, she is far from holy. Seika Ayanokoji is a regular customer of Tamaki. The female possesses long reddish-brown hair that has bangs hanging on the left side and blue-gray eyes. Ayanokoji is of royal descent, hence her legitimate title of "Princess." She is adept at putting on a pleasant facade when, in reality, she is a highly possessive and mean-spirited young woman. Or in other words a bitch.
Seika Ayanokoji scooted closer to Tamaki on the couch before insulting our newest member. "I've recently heard the Host Club is keeping a little kitten without a pedigree." Ayanokoji stated while glaring daggers at everyone who crossed her vision. Tamaki on the other hand, seemed unfazed like he could not read the tension in the room. "I don't know if I'd call him that." Tamaki defended before the door of the club room opened to reveal the center of the current topic. "Speak of the devil! Thanks for shopping little piglet. Did you get everything on our list?" Tamaki asked.
"What? Piglet?" Haruhi questioned the labeling as she walked through the host club. Once the groceries became the main focus, the conversation shifted. I walked up to Haruhi to help with the weight she held but before we could even unpack the supplies someone was more eager. "Hey, wait a minute, what is this?" Tamaki questioned while examining the container he grabbed from the top of a grocery bag. Haruhi kept her composure, unsure if she should laugh or question his thoughts. "Just what it looks like. It's coffee." She stated bluntly. Tamaki continued to examine the container much like he was actually reading the labeling, "I've never seen this brand before. Is this the kind that's already ground?" He asked.
Clarification was needed for the situation so I provided a short and simple answer. " It's instant coffee." Many of the customers we had questioned the meaning of instant while trying to devise a way the product would be of use. "Whoa. I've heard of this before. It's commoners' coffee. You just add hot water." Tamaki exclaimed like a child who was just given candy. Comments from the customer started up again, some questioned the existence of the product while others figured "Poor people don't even have enough time to grind their own coffee beans." It was so shocking apparently that even the pricing difference made the shadow king comment on the subject, "Commoners are pretty smart. 100 grams for ¥300? That's a lot less than we normally pay."
Haruhi snatched the bottle away from the vice president and made her way to the host club doors. "I'll go back and get something else. Excuse me for not buying you guys expensive coffee." Haruhi stated while seeming very annoyed with the endless batter that arose from something so simple. Tamaki then took the container back from Haruhi with intention. "No, I'll keep it. I'm going to give it a try." Gasps can be heard from all around the room with his declaration. And not long after, applause then began. I began to step back from the crowd to head back to my tasks. "It's amusing how something so simple can excite them so quickly" I whispered to Haruhi, who was now standing next to me before Tamaki called out for help. "Alright Haruhi, get over here and make me some of this commoners' coffee." Tamaki yelled while Haruhi mumbled under her breath what seemed to be a normal catch phrase for her now. "I hate all these damn rich people."
