You rang the doorbell, once, twice. No answer. You luckily had keys to Lias apartment, you never used it but you needed to come inside now. Unlocking the door you stepped inside and were greeted by a cozy atmosphere, nothing like your place, whenever you were in your own house you felt cold and deprived of everything, even if it was warm... you slipped out your phone to text Lia that you were here, she read it almost immediately, saying she was out and she would be coming home right now.
You waited on her sofa scrolling through your phone when you heard the door unlocking, she walked in with a worried expression running to you with her boyfriend trailing behind with bags and bags of shopping, placing it down and sighing deeply, cracking his back, you waved to him as he smiled softly and went to the kitchen.
You felt the couch sink as Lia sat next to you, she turned to you holding your hand and caressing it.
"What happened?"
You tried to avoid eye contact But she clenched your hands harder to let you know it was alright. You slowly looked up tightening your grip on her hands too, suddenly you started ugly crying, hiccupping and choking on your own tears as you lowered your head instinctively.
She embraced you into a tight and warm hug, inhaling her sweet apple scent you broke down on her shoulder, letting down your walls, finally feeling comfortable. She rubbed your back soothingly as you told her what had happened, the dealing, the argument and how you didn't want to see Felix anymore. Everything you told her only made her blood boil more, she never liked Felix but when you two started dating she had to accept it and be happy for the both of you but now she's wondering If she should've told you to leave him all along, maybe then you wouldn't have had to deal with so much...
"You can stay here for as long as you want " she reassured you, you were grateful but you declined.
"Lia you always do so much for me and im grateful but, if I ran away from the problem then it would be so...so selfish, I can't just leave Felix all alone... I'm going to fix this and I'm going to fix him, I want him to be happy and safe."
She agreed with you but she still hated him, she wanted nothing more than to grind his bones up and watch him suffer in his own blood, but you loved him...so she had to love him too (not that she ever would.)
You told her you just wanted to hang out with her for the day to clear your mind ,she was more than happy to. You two spent the whole day together, baking, going out, watching movies and just enjoying yourself, you were so happy to be with Lia but you still felt empty, your happiness wouldn't really show on your face. You looked so dead and tired that her heart ached just from looking at you, she genuinely thought you had lost all hope and life. She hated to see you like this...

It was 7pm now, you hadn't received any texts or calls from Felix which slightly worried you, you were about to go back when Lia begged for you to go to a party at a night club with her, serena, and a few other people you didn't know. You finally accepted. Staring at the mirror you frowned, you didn't know what to wear and you weren't even at your house to pick out clothes, luckily Lia had some and offered you clothes.
You were wearing a black lacey sleeveless top with a black cropped leather jacket and white baggy denim pants with a belt that had a chain hanging on it. You straightened your hair and wore spikey cuffs with red Ruby earrings and the necklace Felix gave you, you smiled to it as you put it on, it was also Ruby so it complimented your earrings. You didn't put much makeup on just eyeliner and a light lipgloss. You swung your black crossbody bag on, slipping on Lia's black platform boots and made your way to the car. She whistled at you which made you laugh.
"Damnnnn, man if I wasn't dating Bailey I would've already fucked you" you lightly slapped her arm and laughed as Bailey just rolled his eyes amusingly. You sat in the back seat as the two of them chattered away. You stared out the window, zoning out just admiring the beautiful night sky, there was a warm wind that made you feel like you were levitating, the street lights were lit up and made everything feel so surreal.
Soon you had reached the club and stepped out, immediately you could hear faint pop music and smell alcohol and cigarette smokes, you didn't really like clubs because of all the weirdos but you were here with your friends and that's all that mattered...
