As you stepped in, the aroma of coffee welcomed you, you inhaled the scent and went to the back to put your apron on. You waited patiently at the counter for a order, nervously tapping your pen on the empty pad, orders today were slow and you was dreading it, it was the only thing that let you take your mind off of everything that had been going on.
You sighed as your phone vibrated under the pad, you carefully picked it up reading the notification that popped up on the screen, it was a text from your best friend: Lia, you smiled to yourself, you loved Lia she knew everything about your life and respected you for it, she helped you time and time again...you just wish you were as useful to her as she is to you.

You put your phone down and just on the nick of time, a customer walked in, you greeted them softly and made their order. A few more people flooded in keeping you busy until your shift ended at 6:30pm.
You took your apron off hanging it in the staffs room, getting changed, wearing a simple white top with a black hoodie and flared denim pants. You stepped out, waving at your boss to let him now you were going, he smiled and returned the wave back. You slipped on your hoodie which was barely enough as the cold wind swept around you, you hugged your self tightly trying to keep the warmth in and took your phone out your pocket with shakey hands asking Lia to send you the address of the place, she sent it as you waited for your uber to arrive.
As you stepped in you wondered if you should tell Felix that you wouldn't be home till late, but when did he ever tell you? Its not like he cared anymore so you didn't bother, switching your phone off you stared out the window taking in the serenity of the evening sky, despite the cold the weather was perfect, the sun setting leaving the sky fading from a blue to a dark purple and shades of pink, the dim light shining in just enough to notice every detail and the smell of fast food intoxicating your senses, it felt so nostalgic and you loved it.
You finally arrived at the place called 'spice village' you stepped in and immediately several foreign smells whiffed around you, you looked around and saw your little group of friends already seated waving at you frantically, you giggled to your self and started walking towards them smiling.
As you sat down you were immediately greeted by a tight hug from Lia which you returned, but softly.
"Haha, its good to see you too."
"We missed youuuu, your barely out now adays" your other friend, serena, pouted at you crossing her arms, you laughed and softly held her hands.
"I'm so sorry serena, I missed you too"
"Its finee I'm just glad your here, how is everything...and Felix?"
The atmosphere suddenly tensed up as you uncomfortably fidgeted on your seat
"O-oh you know, good better then before for sure" you lied, Lia and serena both stared at you with a look of 'Sureee' you sighed in defeat and told them it wasn't any better, serena looked at you apologetically but then Lia disrupted the awkward silence.
"Who cares about him anyways, focus on us! This is a girls night which means no boy talk" you giggled and nodded your head, all 3 of you clinking your glasses together and enjoying the moment now.
It was 9:25pm now you were satisfied, laughing and gossiping all night, you hugged your friends and said goodbye as you took another uber back to your apartment. The closer you got the more your heart thumped, you didn't know why you were nervous you just didn't want to face Felix after finally going a whole 3 hours without thinking about him, you wanted to feel happy without him but it was impossible to, and finally after ages you genuinely did enjoy your self tonight.
Stepping in the apartment you see Felix and his possessions nowhere to be seen, you were confused as he should've been home by now, you took tour shoes off, quickly showered changing into comfortable clothes, a baggy t-shirt, probably his, and sweat pants.
You sat on the bed and contemplated whether or not you should ask him where he is.
You did.
It rang 4 or 5 times before he finally picked up, him being the first to speak.
"What."
"You could at least be nicer you know, or am I not allowed to call you now?"
He grumbled to himself angrily as he finally replied "fine, sorry, what did you want?"
"Much better" you smiled to your self slyly
"I want to know why you aren't home yet"
" I did come home, but you weren't home, where the fuck where you huh?"
"I was out with Lia and serena I was going to tell you but when do you ever tell me when your out?"
"You could've still told me, I thought you fucked of somewhere else to get laid by another guy or something,"
"WHY would I do that are you crazy!?"
"For fucks sake y/n... HOW AM I MEANT TO KNOW WE- we don't even talk anymore I don't know how you think now"
"Out of everything you thought I'd cheat? That really hurts Felix..."
"..."
"Well where are you then?"
"Out..."
"Where out?"
"At a party..."
"Hah, figures" your voice cracked in betrayal "for YOU to get laid?"
"N-no. You know what I'm coming home right now."
"Forget it, you obviously don't care about US, I'd much rather not see you tonight at all"
"Y/n please-"
You ended the call throwing your phone as far away as possible covering your head under the covers sobbing to yourself as you slowly drifted off to sleep.
