Onyx hurried down the hill towards where she'd left the ninja. With a glance at the ocean, where a thick mist had begun to roll in, she confirmed that she'd been gone almost an hour. With any luck, the others would still be near where she'd left them. They weren't, instead waiting at the entrance to Stiix. As she approached, Cole offered a somewhat soft smile. "You okay?" He asked. Onyx frowned. "Morro's here. We need to get going," she said.

The changes in their demeanors were immediate. Kai's eyes widened. "Are you okay?" He asked, looking her over. Onyx nodded. "Physically," she said. Her throat smarted slightly, but she could speak and breathe perfectly fine. "We need to get going now. Morro won't be far behind," she said. Jay nodded. "Remember, I'm in charge. We're not stealing the Scroll; we're returning it to the library after we learn Airjitzu," Jay said seriously, clambering up onto the roof of a house. Cole shook his head as the rest of them followed. "Whatever helps you sleep at night," he murmured.

"And we're ninja! Let's keep it quiet," Jay murmured as they began to leap over the roofs. Jay almost immediately violated his own advice by falling through a ceiling. Onyx winced as a woman screamed from inside. "Ah! Vattene da qui, brutto mostro! She shrieked, followed by a thunking sound. A few moments later, Jay clambered out of the hole he'd made, rubbing his head. "Let's try to be a little more quiet, shall we? Last I remember, we're ninja," he hissed, getting back to his feet.

It only took them a few minutes to get back to Ronin's shop. They landed on the docks in front of it, their eyes alighting on a padlock chaining the door shut. Jay very logically responded by grabbing the lock and biting it, which, of course, did nothing. Onyx stared at him for a moment before reaching into her uniform and grabbing her lockpicks. "You're supposed to pick the lock, not try to bite it off," Kai scoffed. Jay wrinkled his nose at him. "Ugh, if I had my powers, I'd zap it after I zap you!" He snapped.

Onyx sighed and stepped forward, kneeling down and inserting her tension wrench and pick into the lock. Apparently, the five seconds it would've taken her to pick the lock were too long to wait, because Cole kicked out the window and climbed into the shop. A few moments later, the door creaked open and Onyx stepped in. "Great, now we're already on the hook for breaking and entering," Cole groaned. Onyx raised an eyebrow. "Technically, I'm just entering," she murmured.

Kai growled softly. "I don't like sneaking around in the dark any more than you do, so let's just find the Scroll and get out of here," he whispered. "Do you know, historically, what a ninja is?" Onyx asked. "Exactly. Plus, when you guys were leaders, you never heard me complain. And I say leave no stone unturned," Jay ordered, beginning to go through the contents of the shop. Onyx crouched down and began to go through a pile of scrolls.

"The faster we find the Scroll, the faster we can work on the next clue that will lead us to the tomb. Then we can save Lloyd, and it will be all because of me," Jay added. "Ah, I found it!" Cole suddenly exclaimed. Onyx jerked her head up. "You found the scroll?" Jay gasped. Cole shook his head. "No, but I found my father's trophy. I'm taking it back. He danced hard for this," he said. "So did you," Onyx murmured, setting the useless scrolls aside and resisting the urge to read some of the more interesting ones. She had priorities.

Suddenly, a pipe organ behind Jay burst to life and ensnared him within its pipes. "Aah! Holy pipes! The organ's got me!" He cried. Cole leapt up. "Uh, it's possessed by a ghost! I forgot what we're supposed to do," he shouted, panicking slightly. "Water!" Onyx shouted as Jay choked, the organ trying to strangle him. "I got water! Ugh! Hey, these flowers are fake!" Kai's voice turned to a disgusted cry as the flower face he flung at the organ began to dance to a tinny tune. "We're on a village built entirely over water. Please, take your time!" Jay shrieked.

Onyx whipped around, looking for a container of some kind she could fill with water, but Cole quickly solved the problem by flinging a jug of drinking water at the instrument. The greenish haze around the organ vanished as a ghost rose up into the air. "!sdneirf s'orroM fo eno rehtonA" Zane exclaimed. "I think he said, "another one of Morro's friends," Kai translated. Onyx had no idea if he was right, but she wasn't going to question it.
