Five months later

Katherine was sitting in Spencer's living room with others, she was sitting on the floor near Spencer and had her head rested against her leg.

"Em, you and I are the only ones who did anything worth talking about this summer. I mean Aria took some boring picture class and Spencer went to college and Kat just did work"

"I took a full load at Hollis, and Aria beat out a thousands applicants for a space in that photography class," Spencer said and then looked at Katherine who was on floor. "Do you want to come up here?"

Katherine looked at her and shook her head. "No, I'm good here"

"Okay if you say so," Spencer said and moved a hand into her hair.

"So, how many houses did you build?"

"Uh, I think we finished about six," Emily said.

"And in poor countries, one house is like a home for fifty"

"Okay, Miss productive how much of your list did you actually do?"

Hanna then pulled out a little notebook that had her list she made. "Let's see... cooking class with Caleb. Done. Volunteer at the animal shelter for pocket dogs--"

"Wait. That exists?"

"Did not do. Expand my vocabulary. Effectuating. Interned for Vera Wang"

"You got an internship for Vera Wang?" Emily asked.

"Yeah, I changed my mind. Turns out they want you to work for free"

"Was that a car?" Aria asked after hearing a noise in the distance.

"No, it's just the wind"

Emily then started to more drink into her cup.

"Oh, careful, Em, they're already pretty strong"

"Maybe for you, you're a pixie. I've gotten really good at this"

Katherine then reached over and grabbed the bottle and poured more into her cup and saw the others looking at her. "What I have gotten good at it also"

Spencer looked at her and shook her head. Then all of their phones went off.

"Show me your boobs -A" Spencer read off.

"Does Mona have a ten-year-old brother?"

"A' for annoying"

Katherine nodded her head in agreement and took a sip of her drink.

"Are these ever gonna stop?"

"Eventually we'll be old news"

"Will we" Katherine mumbled, and took another sip of her drink.

"Yeah, and then Garrett will go on trial and we'll be news again. Or Mona will start talking and we'll be news again"

"Or I'll show someone my boobs and we'll be news again," Emily said.

"Okay!" Spencer said with a laugh and reached over and took the bottle.

"Hey, I thought this was a party"

"You know what? You're right, Em. Welcome back" Hanna said.

"And you're never allowed to leave for an entire summer again"

"To making it to senior year" Spencer holding her cup up and clicked cups with the others.

"Hear!"

"Not all of us made it"
